Hello,
I've been reading on Susan's for awhile. I've been crossdressing off and on since I was a teenager and had some cross gender identity as a child. I'm not sure yet were I fit in the spectrum but I'm beginning to explore more. I've recently had more significant gender dysphoria which seems to ebb and flow by the month. It is significant at times but not debilitating. I've just started meeting with a good gender therapist. I'm in my 40s now and hoping to learn more.

Hi Vanora,
Welcome to Susan's. I trust you have an enjoyable time here. Just be aware of 'labels' like crossdressing. These are more often than not, the effect, not the cause. In your case, as with many others, brain gender is the most common cause. Maybe time to see an endocrinologist and see where you fit in the continuum.
As for the 'continuum', if you were to draw a line where a pure woman was 0 and a pure man was 100, somewhere along that line we all exist. Beware though, it's 3 dimensional. I register no more than 25 on such a scale.
Hope you enjoy the journey and have a respectable time with your therapist.
Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

Thanks Catherine and Tracey,
I do think it is multidimensional in some ways, but sometimes it seems much simpler too.
