Post by: lucaluca on October 01, 2011, 01:27:38 PM

lol depends on CONDITIONER, length and how much you cut / wash it? Born a gb been told i've always had nicer hair than most girls my age . . . . Short answer? Body hair stops / slows down considerably but "very fine" head hair (like mine?) Been on HRT for almost 6 yrs now and will prolly stay same.

Basically, HRT will curtail the action of dihydrotestosterone and other androgens against your scalp hair.  Hairs made dormant by DHT will begin growing again, while hairs that DHT has already killed will remain so.

It won't have any effect on the natural thickness of your hair, however.

I have noticed that my hair has actually started to grow lighter?! Has anyone else experienced this, I was shocked the other day. I used to be dark brown, now I am light brown, almost dirty blonde.
