Title: Protest
Post by: gennee on October 08, 2011, 01:39:57 PM
Today' I went to protest against nuclear energy here in New York City. It's the second protest that I've attended regarding this issue. There were about 100 or so protesters and activists in front of Governor Cuomo's office making our presence felt.
We want the Indian Point Nuclear Plant to be shut down. I believe that it will be shut down.

Hydrofracking is another hot issue and I have been active on this front. Occupy Wall Street is in its 21st day and building. I will be going down there next week.

Good on you, Gennee.

We need to get out there, I'm off to the Stop the NHS Cuts demonstration here in London tomorrow myself.

The essential is to keep the pressure on this time, we can bring change.

Ah mimpi

So I take it south of the river is south of the thames?

Anyway, there appears to be an awful lot of protesting going on at the moment, everywhere, about everything.

Are we about to have world wide revolution soon?

Insha'Allah ;)

You not coming tomorrow? Am going to the Pink Bloc meeting first with a friend, bit early so not that sure we will make it in time. Main demo for certain.

Yes, south of the Thames, sometimes we have to travel up north. I've been to Watford and to Cambridge!
