So, I finally have my wife on board and I have my letter so starting T is the next step right? Wrong!
I went and had labs drawn -- and my freakin' platelet count is high and so is my red blood cells --- which is probamatic with starting T. So, my hormone doctor just would start depo - so thankfully I haven't had my period for two months.
I just had surgery for kindey stones & I had a colonscopy because of issues --- all that is cleared up -- not I have to get stuck like a pin cushion and observed for a couple months to figure out what the deal is with my blood. What a freakin' pain in the ass!!!! I just want to start T so bad and now I have to wait.
Prior to the blood work my hormone doctor and my internal medicaine doctor were all on board -- stupid blood test.
However, on a positive note --- my lab did show that my testorone level is high for a female -- above the normal range for a female and just below the normal range for a male.

Sorry about all the problems. Is there any way you could donate blood as a way to lower the red blood cell count?
