How long since you had one those babies? Hey, it's serious business, the Fluffernutter is the official state sandwich of my home, Massachusetts! Google it. So, who likes a Fluffernutter?

Ooooh! I remember those!
I harassed my mom to by the Fluff for weeks when I first saw the ads on TV many decades ago. She finally relented and I did enjoy them. I'm not so sure I'd like them now but I may just try one to see. :)

Wow, that takes me back!

Confesssion: If I make a Fluffernutter, I cut the crust off the bread.

No, Cindy, we never discuss the "v" bag here in the food thread! Cutting off the crusts is just a simple luxury. At school, having you Mom cut off the crusts of your sandwich meant you were rich, or a wuss! I had an older brother and sister, so my Fluffernutters were often made with the heels of the bread, turned inside out to look like real bread. Oh ->-bleeped-<-, have I been ranting about my childhood again? Sorry, hugs, Tracey

But what is it?
A peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich, often on toast with the bread crusts cut off (I would tend to add raspberry jam to mine) :)
Check out the vid. Emelye posted :)

I like fluffernutters and vegemite. Not together, of course. ;D

One more tip: Use two knives, one for the Fluff, and one for the peanut butter. That Fluff is as white as the driven snow and there's nothing worse than looking in the jar and seeing skid marks!
