My best guess it's due to some weeks without hormones (other the T) pre- and post-op.
Go back on Finasteride as is often advised, if not having been at least 3 years pre-op on that stuff.
Biotin may be of some added help.
Also it is often advised to go back on Spiro (1 tab) to make up at least 3 years of that too, plus normal pre-op E.

If you have an endo, please confirm with him as he will know your history, as my take is ball-park only.

I think it is very probably hormonal drop and also op-stress related.

Take care,
Axelle

When I was post-op I went off hormones for 3 years, and just got back on them a couple months ago. I misinterpreted what my doctor said and thought it would be fine. I luckily didn't experience too many side effects from stopping hormones, but my hair does feel a bit thinner now than it used to so yeah, make sure you stay on the hormones.

MY hair came out 4mths after surgery all of a sudden.  I went to my endo and he said it could be the anaesthesia, age or alopecia.  Well he put me on progesterone along with my estrogen and then it STOPPED falling completely and my hot flashes stopped immediately but my hair DIDNT return.  it is still thin.
