They make for an excellent quick snack.
I still keep packages on hand.

Ugh, I always buy a big crate of ramen noodles and then it has a bunch of bugs in all of the cups a couple weeks later. >.<

Ain't eating them fast enough, girl!
I'd happy to come by and have you throw ramen noodle cups at me through your window.
These bugs will fear me.

Ramen noodles are flashed dried in hot oil in the factory.
If you want ramen noodles to taste good, boil them, dump the water, put in fresh water and seasoning to finish.

I eat the bagged ramen noodles, not the ones that come in cup form. I boil some water on the stove. Add the noodles plus seasoning. And then I add in one egg and let it cook in the boiling water. Mmmmmmmmm YUMMY!

Ever try them dry? I like it.
The last time I had them a friend was making it and made 4 packs at once I could taste the salt for 3 days even though I was drinking at least 1.5 gallons of water a day. I said I was never going to eat them again, but now I want some. I guess I will just use half the seasoning.
This is what I normally get.

Actually the the noodles are not bad, it's that little packet of seasoning, so toss the seasoning and make your own. Ever sense HRT my creative side of my brain is in hyper mode so I call it my new female brain creates all kinds of neat stuff. So with the seasoning packet in the trash, dice some garlic, onion and celery use a dash of kosher sea salt and some pepper saute all the flavors in some EVOO and after the noodle are cooked pour on the love and enjoy a great healthy meal ;)

I love both the noodles and seasoning, straight and plain :)
I buy enough to have at least one packet every couple days, just because they're so dirt cheap.

I used to eat ramen soooo much in college. Lately I've been a little broke but there's no way on earth I'm eating all that deep fried goodness so I switched to Campbell's chicken noodle. Not as tasty, but more healthy :)

ramen is great.
I love to eat them raw, then use the seasoning packets to make other stuff taste good.
I learned like hundreds of ramen recipies when I was in jail.
Like heat them without water, then pour water on the hot dry ramen and it sizzles and makes steam, and changes the flavor and consistancy.
and I have a fantastic recipe for ramen noodle pseudomeatballs, but I'll never tell!!!
