Title: Do you like my optimistic view of religion?

I noticed that BOTH Christians and atheists are rather selfish in their thinking. Call me an idealistic pig, but here it is:
God created the universe all those billions of years ago, right? Well, when the Earth finally developed, God created Adam and Eve in Mesopotamia's Fertile Crescent. After the events that transpired, Noah's flood (which was REGIONAL) expanded the Persian Sea to what it is today, marking the FULL, FINAL end to the remnants of the Ice Age.
ANYWAY, what makes both groups selfish is that they think their time is the one that matters to God. Since one second to God is 1000 years to us or so, it is illogical to assume God would cause a Rapture or pay attention to us now (which is why Jesus was sent in Roman times; God "blinked" and humans were acting like freaks).
The Pale Blue Dot, which people think supports atheism, actually goes AGAINST it. Look, humans are meant to explore the universe. God created it to make our habitat, our "playground". By the time we DO explore those galaxies, there will be about a couple "God"-years, and THEN we can discuss religion.

Atheists don't believe that their time matters to God. They can't believe that their time matters to God, because they don't believe in God. That would be like saying that Christians are selfish because they believe that their time is the one that matters to Loki.
