Title: how to tell supporting parents i wwnt to see a therapists for hormone blockers

So my parents support me how do I bring up a therapists I'm tryin :angel:g to take them baby steps so they can then can adapt to it and not try to talk me out of it

  You will have to tell them, the sooner the better.  You will need to see a therapist anyway.  We cannot give advice like that to a child beyond that.  Sorry, Angel!

Be sure of yourself.
Have your research done ahead of time so you can acurately and quikly answer any questions they have.

Do not break down in hysterics or make any threats if they do not want to allow you to do this.
Ask them what their reservations are and work with it from there.

Maintain your cool and do not make this a power struggle.

Get them on board as part of your gender transition team. As you are young they still have a chance to raise you as a daughter.

  Mel you're so cute! K listen if you want them to take you to see a therapist try n give them some information on young transexuals and anything transgender related. Hope that helps!

as far as the talk, imho, focusing on the positive that stopping puberty will do for your well being will fly better then blanket statements like "I'm a girl inside" because they likely don't fully understand the dynamics of gender identity yet.
