Non-binary, no intention of full-time

Would love to hear people's thoughts on coming out, especially if you are non-binary identified or do not intend to live full-time as whatever gender. How do you deal with people challenging your identity because you are not male/female/whatever 100% of the time?

I currently identify as genderqueer. I am somewhere on the FTM spectrum, though I have no intention of going full-time as a man (at least not in my workplace or with a lot of my family). Seriously considering top surgery, and testosterone is also looking more and more promising the more I think about this.

I don't know if I should tell my family. I hate having to explain myself and wish people could just accept things as they are instead of trying to reason them away. I think if I don't have any "solid reasons" for feeling the way I do, I won't be taken seriously. I didn't even start questioning my gender identity until earlier this year so they might think it's just a phase, especially since I had a very girly stage for a couple years.

welcome aboard
You should check out the androgyn section.
Thats where the gender queer types tend to congregate.
