anyone here into anime [lol i'm sure there must be a few here]
if so what are your top anime?

Yep. Big fan. My top anime? Macross Plus, Hourou Musako, Macross Frontier, Ghost in the Shell and much more.

Sailor Moon (don't laugh >.>), Tenchi Muyo, Naruto, old school Pokemon, Ghost in the Shell when I'm bored, I used to like One Piece but I haven't watched it in years, nor Zach Bell, and I distinctly remember watching this one about a guy who got hit by a car and died and came back as a ghost or whatever. Let's see..... Idk probably more.

Most anime is boring or seems like a rip off of older anime. But who doesn't love cute little anime face faults? ^.^

If Miyazaki films count as anime I fricken looooooooove those.

Oh you are such a Toonami watcher :p the anime you are probably thinking of is Yuyu Hakusho
Sailor Moon wasnt bad, if you watch the right version. Toonami's version was butchered badly.

I was a big Toonami watcher. ;D

Yes that's it. I keep forgetting the name. >.<

I only watch Sailor Moon in subtitles on Youtube. I can't handle the English dub.

You can also find the final sailor moon season called sailor stars, which features senshi who are female but when out of their uniform they are male pop stars. Toonami never aired it.
I love Ranma 1/2 too.

I watched a lot of Toonami as well....
When Sailor Moon went off the air, I started collecting it on DVD, to the point where I have all five seasons and the three movies. (And my current venture is to start collecting all the newly reprinted manga.)


I'm not into anime as much as I used to be though.
The only other anime I really like are Fushigi Yûgi, Kare Kano, and Excel Saga -- because it makes me laugh.

I love anime!
My overall fave is gravitation (hence shuichi as my profile photo)

I also love ouran high school host club, death note, ninja scroll, howl's moving castle & bleach

I want the gravitation manga series but I'm not having luck finding it. it's not a very popular one over here in the uk >.<

I love anime.  I don't watch it as much now but it's always in my heart.  I would looove to cosplay one day at Anime Expo with a flat chest!  Anyways here are my top animes in no particular order after number 1.

1. Sailor Moon (I'm obessed with Sailor Moon- it is almost borderline religion for me)

Ghost in the Shell, Full Metal Alchemist, and Hellsing are the only series I've liked. I find it pretty to look at, but a lot of anime seems really slow and boring to me.

Paprika is one of the my favouritest things ever if we are including movies.

I like to watch a lot of anime. Some in english dub but most in subtitles.

We have almost the same taste in anime :)

Horou Musuko shook me up for days after I watched it.

Other than that, Berserk, Gurren Lagann, Claymore, One Piece, Planetes, Azumanga Daioh, Welcome to the NHK are all amazing.

And for some hilarious stuff - Ping Pong Club and Cromartie High School.

Basically everything by Miyazaki but especially My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited away, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa.

also who can forget Akira, and Ghost in the Shell.

I grew up with Mazinger Z, Heidy, Remy and I have a soft spot in my heart for the whole pieced together out of various non related animes US Robotech saga.

Out of the popular ones i like

Dragonball and sort of like Dragonball z
Berserk
One Piece
Full metal Alchemist (the one that followed the manga)
and I F+++ing loved INUYASHA!

and some other animes like

hmmmmmm some are escaping my mind.....I remembered!
Neon Genesis Evangelion (the series, the movies and the new movies) and So Ra No Wo To (I loved the heck out of that one)

Also, no matter what anyone says, you should avoid the  Boku No Piko trilogy like the plague, nothing good will come from watching that, and I think it maybe illegal in some countries.

monica.soto: You've watched Remi too?! My dad made us watch that anime in Spanish and it was so sad and so good (he even let us skip a day of school to finish it)

Right now, ever since I officially started gender-transitioning, I've been watching a LOT of girly anime series... I'm rewatching Sailor Moon from start to finish, am also watching Cardcaptor Sakura, Princess Tutu (WOW, that show is awesome!) and Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Needless to say, I've always loved anime. I grew up watching Sailor Moon, DBZ, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh, and then it blossomed into full-on fandom by the time college rolled around. Again, great to see so many fans!

Ikuhara and his lesbians :P ) Hourou Musuku was amazing, the fact that they made such a good 12 ep anime out of a manga that's been running for a decade straight is astounding  :o
