Hi,
Today my FTM boyfriend got his first shot of T, I've been with him for awhile and I understand and support him, but I'm incredibly scared of how it will effect him, mood wise and physically and so on. I'm scared he might have a shorter temper, (because it's already quite short and we can't afford to have more arguments) or that he may lose his sex drive or even that his personality might change. I've read very little on the side effects of T before,so I just don't know what to expect. Any kind of answer or help will do, I just want to be sure that I wont lose him under all these changes he will soon have to face, I know it's early in the game, but I's just like to have my mind at ease, even a little bit. He is on 1ML of Primoteston every two weeks, at the moment.
Any advice/help is appreciated.
Thanks
Katie.

Actually.... most transmen seem to mellow out and calm down when they get T.
The lack of T in their male brains is what seems to make allot of them agressive and once they get the right fuel for the brain they mellow out.

Personality may change somewhat but this is typically a good thing as depression and angst are replaced with a better adjusted person. Once the GID is dealt with head on we can be ourselves and let more of our natural personality shine through.
Sex drive is likely to increase, not decrease, but it can go either way.
YMMV

Don“t worry, he will feel happier with the T.
It is good you are together in that.
