I sooooo wish I were I were post-op.

I don't think this is quite the right place for this as we're likely to have very different feelings than women towards our anatomy.  Why don't you go ask in the post-op area.

Well, for one thing, it's inside you rather than outside. So you don't have to worry about having an ouch moment while playing sports or paintball.

And if a woman is aroused, you can't really tell by looking

it doesn't feel like anything, you cant feel it unless someone/something is in it, then it feels like tearing raw skin (for me) It just feels like a lack and emptiness

This is really inappropriate and should be moved.
I'm sure it feels completely different from having an inverted penis, so it probably belongs in the post-op subforum - if there isn't a thread about it already.

It feels pretty awesome I'd imagine. But not for FtMs. I'd imagine this topic has a lot of dsyphoria issues for those who are pre op.

As for me, I don't want one...I just taste em.

It's true that we tend to have bad feelings about ours, but I think this is an alright place to ask. We all have one, right?

To me it feels a bit like having a mouth. It's wet, and red, and mucousy, and it leads to one's innards. It's sensitive and needs protecting.

It's kind of like your [whatever's a good word for ->-bleeped-<-], but looser and slimier. A lot of boys think it's the be all and end all. Girls like it too, but they seem more curves and clit centric.

Frankly, I don't like having mine. It's redundant, and I feel I was unfairly scripted as one who gets penetrated (I love being entered, but I shouldn't have to overcome the "barrier" of not having a penetrative organ myself). I really feel like it's just an absence, and kind of obscene, no matter how much joy I may get from it.

Lol come to think of it, yeah anybody in the ftm forum is probably going to be pretty neurotic/dysphoric/conflicted/unhappy about their vaginas. We aren't supposed to have them, you know?

It's uhh.. kinda boring, to be honest. I agree with Felix, it's like having a mouth. I don't really hate it unless it's bleeding time but otherwise, it's just there.

Only if that kick lands just right. Sometimes (for me at least) it feels like getting kicked anywhere else, but if the placement is just so, it's electric awfulness, the only thing that exists for a few seconds and the only thing one can think about for a few minutes.

I imagine anatomical variations might play a bit of a role in different people's experiences.

I'm post-op and some of the comments about the 'mechanics' seem to fit right on for all I can tell.

One exception though, if I'd get kicked down there (8 weeks post op) I be a ready hurt and scream a bad as it gets.

Reduced sensitivity is sure something to look forward to, reading the above comments.

You know, Axelle, I just want to echo the fact that getting kicked in any surgery site will make a person scream like a girl.

I'm straight so the idea of having 24/7 access to a vagina sounds great. Unfortunately it does nothing for me. I've tried having sex with it, but I don't feel it. It's kinda like when you're at the dentist and numbed up. You can sense that something is happening but you really can't feel what's going on. It did nothing for me. For me my wiring doesn't match that part of my body at all. So I can't experience what it's like to have sex like a cis women, even though I think it would be pretty cool to experience. The general moistness can be annoying and it's he'll during that time of the month. But most of the time I'm unaware of its existence. I know a lot of cis women actually like getting periods because it makes them feel womanly.

I am pre T, and but i've always had high T. Even as a little kid I had a lot of body hair. My junk is a little different than a cis women's. I think I'm pretty well endowed for bring pre T and getting kicked in the dick certianly hurts like a mother ->-bleeped-<-er. I read somewhere that the clit has a higher concentration of nerves than the penis. It's just that most aren't big enough for injury to be likely. I've also have extremely large lips wich I have injured badly before. The pain of busting one of thoes is excruciating.

I remember in sex ed this one really butch dykey gym teacher teaching us about our little bundle of nerves and what it was good for. Lol I was going to complain but that was actually pretty cool of her.

I started masturbating in kindergarten. Got in trouble for it all the time, but nobody told me what it was, what it was called, or why I shouldn't do it. So I had a tendency to do it in public and teach all my friends how to do it until 4rd grade or so, when someone told me for the first time in no uncertain terms that it was something to keep private. God I was stupid.

I'm still pretty socially blind, but I don't play with myself in public anymore.  ;D

I'm actually not too bad about the inner parts. It does feel dysphoric to me for not having a penis but I don't mind the actual inner vagina stuff. Same with my (ftm) boyfriend and we make full use of it, 'cause anal is not really our cup of tea. (not yet anyway)

Though if I had to choose, I know it wouldn't be what I have now.

It really is just there, and it makes itself known once a month (I'm in my jolly good shark week as we speak and it's flaring up my dysphoria big time >.<) So then you have to go to the toilet more often to make sure you don't bleed through your pants. (and it hurts like .. )

And when you're not having your red-flag party, it still makes your undies dirty from time to time during the day with white stuff. Making you feel like you pissed your pants a little or that you're in your period cause it feels all wet down there.

No okay, maybe I dislike it more than I thought haha. It's nice for sex, let's keep it at that.

About the pain, I've never been kicked in the crotch. But I once got a hockeyball down there (I was a goallie) and eversince I wore a jockstrap, and I once got a skateboard up vertical between my legs when landing on my feet and it did pretty much feel like I wouldn't ever get children.

I should comment on the wetness. While going through puberty, a vagina-owning person usually leaks too much. When aroused, it stains less (in my experience), but is much more copious.

I've never worn underwear. The few times I've tried, briefly, I gave it up quick because any time you get horny the underpants get stained. That seemed pretty unnecessary to me. I'd rather clean my thighs than spend money and energy on laundry.

It's horrible. It always feels damp. No matter how much you wash it it still smells. It bleeds and ruins your pants. Dogs like to embarass you by trying to ram their noses into it in public. Camel Toe. All in all it's really awful and disgusting.

Out of curiosity, do the guys go over to the girls' subforums and ask these types of questions?  I really don't know because I rarely look over there.  But these types of topics seem to crop up on this board fairly often.  Just seems a bit insensitive to me.

While I don't think this is the best place to ask, I agree with Felix in that I have one and I can try and answer. Actually, his answer was just about how feel about my own. It's there, it's like a mouth, it gets wet, and that's about it.

I have in the past been able to get some pleasure out of it, buteven when living as a straight woman, I was always left feeling awkward and empty afterwards. I don't really know what it feels like, it's just kind of there.. I don't pay any more attention to it than I do to say my pinky toe. (Until it screams into my ear with a megaphone once a month.) But to comment on getting kicked down there, I haven't experienced that per say - but I've slammed down legs on either side of a metal bar quite a few times (usually biking accidents) and that left me rolling around on the ground holding myself for a good few minutes then walking funny the rest of the day. Ouch.
