Hello daahlings, how are you? :)
I am about to start HRT, however I do not know which way is better. I read everything I could find about it and there are so many different opinions! I know that I will be using Finasteride, Spironolactone, and Estradiol. I do not want to use Progesterone yet, but I think I am gonna have to use it in the first month.
Here is why... I am starting this week and in the middle of next month I will have to stop HRT for 4 days, then I can continue.
I do not want to start with Spironolactone yet, because I am afraid of how my body will react to stopping using it for those 4 days. So, I plan on including it next month.
I wanted to start off with one of these options:
- Estradiol + Oestrogel (but I am afraid of doing such because I read on the forums starting only with E could raise my T levels, if I don't use blockers together with it.)
OR
- Estradiol + Finasteride
OR
- Estradiol and Methylprogesterone (to work as a blocker!).
What is your suggestion? :)
Thank you veryyy much~
God bless!

I'm sorry Dahling, but we do not discuss doseages of hormones here, it is against the site policy.
We also do not support self medication, it is very dangerous, it would be best to have a doctor's help to ensure your overall health.

Ooh,
I have a question.
I can use either Estradiol (generic) or Cicloprimogyn, which is labeled as estradiol levonorgestrel and contains Estradiol Valerate levonorgestrel). Now what is that levonorgestrel? Cicloprimogyn is a lot cheapher, but does it work the same, or better?

As mentioned, an endocrinologist would be able to answer your questions and provide you with necessary care.
