I worked at a pharmacy in Missouri in high school. Insulin syringes were available without a prescription from behind the counter. That's all I know.

I get mine at a feed store.....they're veterinarian grade, but there's no real difference, and we are, after all, only animals.....
but yeah, you'd probably do better to score them at a pharmacy

If you don't like a lot of attention from people or the Feds, get them at the Feed Store. Not so much of a hassle or unwanted questions. All of the needles, syringes, etc. in my Paramedic Bag come from Feed Stores. They are sterile and made by the very same pharmacy suppliers. They are safe. :)

Actually, depending on where you live and the specific pharmacies policy, some require a prescription for insulin syringes too.
The feed store would be the best choice.

I use to work in a pharmacy. In most states it totally up to the pharmacist if they sell you a syringe. If you walk in and know exactly what you are looking for, know the size ect. They will more than likely just hand it over. Don't feel bad if they don't just try another place.

I have been injecting for two years and I get all of mine here:

I like to get larger than insulin syringes because some of the stuff I inject is not viscous enough for those little needles.
