So, I finally picked up my T from the pharmacy... which I love b/c they put my male name on the script even though it's not legally changed.
I decided I am going to take my first shot on Jan 1 --- starting a new year & starting a new life --- I can't believe how much things have changed for me in the last month.
My wife is finally using male pronouns and descriptures when talking about me --- before she avoided it or used gender netural. She seems more excited about me starting hormones than me -- which I don't know how that is possible. My medical issue are almost all under control.
For a first time in a long time I feel super excited about living. I am hopeful for the future and I don't feel the weight of depression hanging on me.
Just wanted to let folks know that I am in a good space

Congrats! You are a stronger guy than me to wait for the New Year! :D I think it is a good sign that your wife is excited for you. My husband is positively giddy for me get my letter and start.
