I have been with my boyfriend, who is FTM, for three years now and have known him for almost fourteen years now. He came out to me almost a year ago about him thinking he might be transgendered. Having known him for so long I wasn't really surprised when he told me, if anything, I was happy for him. He very quickly jumped into transitioning, or at least what he could transition at the moment seeing we didn't have very much money. He changed his wardrobe, cut his hair, began thinking of a name, etc. Like I said, it's practically been a year since all of that and has long since decided on a name; "Luke". He's told his parents (that's still a road being travelled) and my family has accepted him. We are in a very happy relationship and even talking about marriage, but I feel like he's put his transitioning on the back burner. We have money now and we're in a more stable environment than we were before and I know he really wants to get back on track with his transitioning, but we've been having a really hard time finding a doctor that will take a transgender patient. I just really want to help him become the man that I know is in him. We live in the Houston/Conroe area in TX, so if anybody knows of any doctors out here or a way to find doctors in the area I would be extremely grateful!

Hello.
I really can't answer your questions as I am not in your area.
This part of the forums doesnt get as much trafic as some of the other areas. Mainly it is for giving pep talks to spouses who need help coming to terms and are looking for emotional support.
Asking your questions over in the FTM section of these forums would likely net you better information.
Welcome aboard. Always nice to have such a suportive spouse around.
