Title: Rick Perry's "strong" campaign ad
Post by: VeryGnawty on December 09, 2011, 07:06:30 AM
I'll tell you what won't make America strong:  letting Rick Perry force his ridiculous religious beliefs down the throats of all Americans.

Strong (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PAJNntoRgA#)

Comments have been disabled for this video.  For the video made after this one, comments AND ratings have been disabled.  On RP's channel, most of the recent comments have been marked as spam.  I guess whoever runs Perry's YT channel doesn't believe in freedom of speech anymore than they believe in freedom of religion.

The last gasps of a dying campaign. This ad has even created opposing camps,  among his staffers.

Bye, bye...Rick.

Rick Perry is funny and I don't want him to go away. Cuz he's funny. Him and Santorum and Palin. They should stick around.

I think the girls have more intelligence and integrity in their little finger than a truck load of Rick Perrys.  If he gets his way and you are Jewish, Gay, Black or Native American be afraid, be very afraid.

How are people even allowed to have campaign ads like that? Here in Canada if someone had a campaign ad like that, that would the end of their campaign. It's kinda bittersweet though, because at least with obviously bigoted ads like that, at least they're upfront that they're prejudiced and it's easy to single them out. In Canada, with ads like this being socially unacceptable, it might make it easier for conservative candidates to hide behind a hidden agenda.

He has freedom of speech, even if his speech is really stupid.  That's one of the things that make America great.  In this country, you have the right to make a complete ass of yourself in front of the entire world.  Not only do we like our freedom of speech, but some people apparently like to abuse this freedom to the utmost potential.
