Title: Christmas Reactions of Kiddies
Post by: Cindy on December 21, 2011, 02:21:06 AM
My friend took her <2 yr old to see Santa, she was quite enticed and was looking through the queue, and wanting to run ahead, but Dad made sure she stayed in line. They reached the front of the queue and XXXX had her first look at Santa. Her Dad reckons she did a five foot leap to his chest and put a death grip on him. No way would she even let him walk towards Santa; elves and fairies helping or not. Driving home Mum asked, Does  XXXX want to see Santa somewhere else? XXXX says Nooooo.

No Christmas pic this year

My friend was telling the story over a cuppa and another friend piped in.  For her 5yr old boy and 9 yr old girl Santa is pretty cool, but he has to deliver the presents into the pergola, no way is he allowed into the house. They are really happy to leave a carrot for Rudolph and a glass of milk for Santa but they have to drink and eat outside. . The 9 yr old has guessed but is trying to believe - the horror of the pressies not coming belief  .

Any funny stories?

I like it when real little kids pay no attention to the present and just play with the paper and bow! Hugs, Devlyn

This is my daughter's list from last year.

I also enjoyed her request for saturn a few years back. I'm not sure she was clear on the concept of what saturn is, but she had complete faith in santa. And she pronounced it Satt-er-in. I never corrected her.
