A lot happened between the Justice Department's February 23rd announcement that it would no longer defend the Defense of Marriage Act and Hilary Clinton's monumental December 6th LGBT rights speech at the U.N.. And as MSNBC recounts the ten major LGBT rights victories of 2011, it gives us a lot of hope for 2012.
What we'd like to see under the tree next year: a trans-inclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act and a DOMA repeal. C'mon Santa—we'll promise to be extra good.
