Title: How much degree of people did you cut off from once transitioned completely?

I mean once you operated and became a Post Op and did all stuffs as FFS etc.. did you cut off from all your friends, families, colleagues, change name, change job, move to a new town, a new country, start a new life or you remained exactly as you were with the same people background?
Me I don't want a single person to recognize me and my past once all operations are done. Am I the only who did this or is planning to do the same?

Some tried that before, some with success? - then some found it was just too hard on them, and they did the big check-out. Amen.
If I'd do or have to do that, I'd be the loneliest person about, and I'm dang pretty alone as things go.
There will be enough folks that 'loose interest' in knowing you, having EVER known you. Slamming the door close on those few that still care for you is pretty heart rending.
Some say in this day and age of readily available information, it is IMPOSSIBLE to go deep stealth. EVER. I belief them. YMMV
Take care and good luck,
Axélle

I would never cut out my family just to be "stealth".

you know if the fam is the kind to be a problem, they normally cut them selves out. I can see the hole, move and make new friends thing though. But you don't have to wait tell your post Op. Sweety you can just start RLE, and never tell the people you meet that you are anything other then the girl you are. If you run into people you knew before. Well a good friend won't blow your cover. And the bad ones won't talk to you. Really, trust me the bad ones are self pruning.

* Really, trust me the bad ones are self pruning. *
No investment in pruning sheers required either.
It's very true - I had some badies that I could not send off before, now they buggered off all on their own. How ever so nice of them, and good riddance, I say.
In this case no friends be better then bad friends, is my learning.
And so Life goes on...

I was getting cut off by some friends long before any of those things were happening. I agree with most of what you are saying and in most cases to move away and start again is the only way. I'm lucky that my family have been ok, it's just some old friends that are the problem.

I am out and open about being trans, so pre or post SRS wouldn't affect me since friends and family already know.
