Ok so I have trouble passing I'm not sure why though. In passing people don't stare or say anything when i have hair in. If ppl spend the time around me they kinda have an idea.

My body has changed so much and my figure is coming in so nicely. But i feel like my face is lagging behind. There are girls on this forum who looks so natural and pretty... When does your face soften. Mine hasnt changed at all since i've started. I'm really depressed about having to put so much makeup on to pass...

Hormones only move around the fatty tissue in the face. For examples, your cheeks may become fuller. But your actual facial bone structure won't change. That's why many of us opt for FFS. Those who are naturally pretty and passable are lucky.

By the way, you are gorgeous! :)

I dont think the fat in my face has changed at all. I dont think i would need ffs. I couldnt afford it anyhow.

I've been really moody lately. Crying all the time and such. Feel on top of the world then feel like crap... It doesnt help im bipolar

In the first place, you had a very nice feminine face to start with, a lot of sisters would envy you.
Passing shouldn't be the problem, I think the problem is that you look too much to other people, what would they think, what if they clock you and so on.
Don't give attention to that, just be a girl, if you think, do i pass? you will be clocked, than things will be overdone and exaggerate.
If you are just a girl, nobody would ever think about you're not.
Hey, you're not expect to play a girl, you are a girl, just be yourself and everything will be fine, you'll see.

I am naturally nervous around people. Always been that way. I have a fear of people. If there are too many people around i have to leave.

Why should you be nervous with other people, they are only glad to see a pretty face.
They won't bite you and if they do, bite them back.
You have absolutely no reason to be affraid of passing, you're a nice looking girl.

I don't know, but I am in the same boat. I don't have any friends to talk to in person ethier. I also share being naturallt nervous and I also don't like to be around lots of people.

Ok.. I'm looking at your avatar and I have no pity for you whatsoever. Sorry.. you are gorgeous enough to make millions of genetic women extremely jealous. You have beautiful features and I cannot see myself ever passing as well as you do physically. Jesus, the only time I pass is in the drive thru or if somebody is looking at me from behind. The only reason you can't pass is because of something we cannot see like your voice, personality, or posture. Or maybe you are just an excellent makeup artist and the only time you're not passing is with 0 makeup, idk. I'm sure people on this board that see this thread, see your avatar, and are not posting, are pretty much sick to their stomach because YOU are complaining about your looks  ::)

All I know is if I looked like you, I'd pass 100% of the time, I'd have transitioned, and probably wouldn't be clocked unless I showed people my birth certificate or showed them what xy chromosomes create :P

So maybe its something that's "off" when people see you in public.

it s probably your fear of being clocked that is affecting your ability to pass - others can pick up on it and smell it then take a second look at you to figure out why you are nervous.

Natalie, not only do you pass in your photos, but you are also really pretty.
The only reason I could see you not passing to people in real life is if you're abnormally tall, have huge hands, or are still having troubles with your voice.
  It's definitely not the appearance of your face though.

Wow! you have trouble passing? you look very female in your profile pic Natalie. I wished I looked half as good as you do! you have a soft feminine face unlike mine which is quite hard even after 11 years of HRT. I'm not sure why you are not passing and from a visual point of view you pass to me. What's your voice like?

Uhm.... if you look anything like the pictures you have posted, you have NOTHING to worry about luv. You are a beautiful woman and I don't say that to very many. Cheer up. Put your mind on other problems that need resolution. Your face is wonderful. Don't believe yourself when you start thinking otherwise... because, sweetie, you are very pretty.

I've been all over the place emotionally. Confidence isnt something i have alot of but im working on it.. It helps that so many think i look great. I look up to alot of girls here.

Well that's very common. As a close classmate friend of mine told me...  "Welcome to being a girl. I went through it and so did both of my daughters. Natalie I totally agree with the others here, you are beautiful and I can't believe anyone could see anything but a gorgeous woman. Of course I'm just going off pictures but seriously I don't even think me from a few years ago would notice anything off, and that me was pretty thrown off by the idea of trans. Pretty sure you would of changed my mind real fast though. ;)

I wouldn't worry too much, if I knew I'd look like you I'd transition in a heartbeat. :)

wow Natalie and Jenny, congrats, you're both absolutely female, always insecure about the looks, while there is nothing to be insecure about.
But....there is some good news girls, while time is running and you become a little older, the insecurity will vanish more and more.
Bad news is that there is reason to worry about the looks while getting older.
in other words, we women do have an expiredate, so enjoy your beauty while you still have it.
Just an advice from an older woman to beautiful young ones.

Well it's either to do with your:

a). Height.
b). Upper body movements/posture.
c). Bonyness of face (chin, cheeks, brows).
d). Voice.

Maybe you could record a video of yourself with general interactions and analyse it to see what needs to be worked on.

Once again, a person posing still in pics does not show any fear of being clocked -

imho, it is natalie's fear of being clocked that is giving others a "vibe" about her.

It's got nothing to do with how pretty she is... if you are constantly worrying, others will notice and wonder. Once you get a second look, it is all over

I personally know a TS that is like you, really passable in pictures, but not in real life.
I don't know you well enough to know what you are lacking. But for my friend, her main culprit are her voice, and her mannerisms. She has a deep masculine voice and shes speaks too loud and crude too. Having a feminine face, an androgynous body, and speaking like a typical male, still gets her clocked.
Alot of qualities doesn't show thru pictures, and if you want honest opinions you should ask friends that you know in real life, the words might hurt you, but gives you and idea what to work on and how to improve. All that aside, like everyone said, you have a pretty face, and you should have less trouble of passing compared to most mtf on this forum

Make a video on what you hope to gain out of transitioning. Then we will probably be able to tell you what's going on.

I still stand by what I said earlier. Your voice sounds just a little odd but to me it doesn't sound like a giveaway. I think it might just be the nasaly aspect you mentioned. I've known women with much deeper voices and more nasaly voices though so I wouldn't worry about it. You still look great. :)

  I think this is the problem.

  You probably have a social phobia, are you on any medications? I had the same problem as you with feeling uneasy around to many people which limited my social life. I told my doctor about it and he prescribed me a low dose of Zoloft to deal with the social anxiety and depression I was feeling. It's been almost two years now and I don't feel uneasy around large crowds anymore and it's way easier for me to make friends now too.

  I think you should look into this more with your doctor. You look really good in your pic's and your voice isn't that bad really so it's probably your fear of people that is getting you clocked IMHO.
