Title: confusion about srs doctors

Hi everybody. After having BA and full FFS I am seriously thinking about getting SRS. I live in Europe and I have consulted several local doctors. Dr Ivan Manero in Barcelona is kind of okay, but I dislike his attitude. I just can not trust him and I dislike his secretary. Dr Bellringer in London is a great doctor, I love his aesthetics but it is the depth that concerns me. I saw Prof Revol in Paris and I think he makes very ugly vaginas. I also saw Dr Miro in Belgrade. He works at a clinic called St medica, and when I was there I saw a disfigured woman after a face lift (done by an other doctor) but that made me paranoid. From the US doctors I like Dr Reeds work but i dislike his outpatient settings. And the thing with him is that the fee doesn't cover any complications kind of scares me as I don't have an USA insurance. Dr Bowers has many bad reports. I like Dr McGinn's work, but she doesn't seem very experienced. I think that Dr Meltzer and Dr Alter are just overpriced. For Dr Bressard I think he is a great doctor but he rushes his surgeries and that can cause problems. Dr Suporn is a very good doctor but I believe he is a great salesman, and I wonder how many of the testimonials online are real.... So as you can see I am really afraid of choosing a doctor... I did a very good research for my FFS and I never regretted my choices. I hope I will pick the right doctor for my SRS because I believe it is far more important to be a functional female then to have a beautiful face.... I will appreciate any replies. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your reply. I really need help to make the right choice. I have heard of him but I don't know anyone who has used him. I just want this GID to end... I have the money for the surgery I just don't know where to go. It is a huge decision and I will have to live with it for the rest of my life.... As a medical doctor I have seen many patients regretting their choices and the problem with the cosmetic medicine is that it is more of a business then medicine.... I just hope I will make the right choice. Do you know any first hand experience from this doctor?

I think that I made up my mind. I will go to Suporn for SRS expecting to get 7" or more of depth and to be orgasmic. When it comes to aesthetics I will have no expectations and in case I end up with an ugly vagina or erectile tissue left I will go elsewhere for a correction. Any thoughts?

Suporn will still need your release/acceptance letters from a third party consultant to do the surgery whether you are medically qualified or not.

Of course he will. I believe it is a very professional clinic. I already have the letters. Thank you.

Hi,
I think Dr Suporn will give you a fine outcome. I had my SRS with Dr Suporn in Dec, 2010.
I will be glad to answer questions about my experience.
Best Wishes,
Elaina

Thank you for your answer Elaina. Suporn uses unique technique which in my opinion is the best current technique available for M2F SRS. Depth and sensations are guaranteed with his technique. When it comes to aesthetics I guess it all depends on the individual anatomy and every case is different. Are you happy with the cosmetic outcome? Do you have any erectile tissue left? I am thinking about going to Thailand to have a consultation in person with Dr Suporn. This is a very important decision and I must make it right.

* Do you have any erectile tissue left? *
Honey, you better understand one thing: every natal female has plenty erectile tissue in their vulva.
In fact a clitoris is about the size of a non erect penis (only INSIDE, below the vaginal vestibule and below the labia minora) so the Corpus cavernosum clitoridis is just a differently developed Corpus cavernosum penis. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus_cavernosum_clitoridis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus_cavernosum_clitoridis)
I hope this will help with your confusion about srs doctors,

Hello,
I'll do my best to answer your questions. First the short version:
Are you happy with the cosmetic outcome? Yes!
Do you have any erectile tissue left? I don't see anything that looks like erectile tissue.
I'll try to add detail.
Are you happy with the cosmetic outcome? I am very happy with the cosmetics. I wish the labia minora would extend
a little further down. I have no way of knowing if any other Dr could have done better, or for that matter if Dr Suporn
could have done better on some other day. I am comfortable that he used all the material he had and made the best use
of that material. On my last examination Dr said, "You have good outcome." I believe him, does he say that to "all the girls"
<smiles.>, maybe. One of the things I liked about surgery with Dr Suporn was the amount of post-op care. I did not need any
touch ups after surgery. The woman who had surgery the day after me had, and is still having a difficult recovery. In the 24
days after surgery she had 3 or 4 out-patient touch-ups/repairs in the clinic. I never asked to see her privates but to my understanding
she had a number of small tears in her labia minora and some problems with her urethra. All of these repairs (if needed) are included
in the cost of your surgery. This woman and I are both mid-50's, and I do know that my overall health is better than hers.
In the 30 days I stayed in Chonburi I would estimate that on average most women had 1 touch-up. Dr Suporn also offers free touch-up
1 year after your surgery date.
Do you have any erectile tissue left? I assume you are asking this in reference to the thread that was posted here a month or so ago.
I was never able to get in to see the pictures that accompanied that thread. But from following the post I can assure that I have not
experienced anything like the mental picture I got from reading the thread. I can only describe my own experience but I assume I have
an amount of erectile tissue under the skin. When I am sexually excited I feel the area about my clitoris "pucker a bit", and mentally
I associate this with the old feeling of erection. At the same time I sense the actual vaginal opening relaxing. All in all this seems
to be working things are meant to work for any girl.
I do have a "fatty pad" on top of the pubic bone (directly above my clitoris). When I am standing up and look at myself in the mirror,
I wish that area were flatter. I don't think this is erectile tissue and it doesn't feel like it when sexually excited. Hopefully a little exercise
and this will improve.
I hope this info helps. I will be glad to clarify or expound on any of the info above.
Best Wishes,
Elaina

That is a very nice answer. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. I guess small tears are normal after a reconstructive surgery. Also small flap necrosis are expected. I would not get too worried if that happens.
I guess the problem you are having with your pubic area is caused from fat. Have you ever tried lipodissolve? I have used it for body sculpting and trust me it works better then liposuction, especially for superficial fat deposits. I guess that will help you. And it is not expensive.

I am thinking all day long about your firsthand experience with Dr S. You never said anything about the sensations. How orgasmic are you? And how orgasmic were the other girls you met? I am sorry for asking this and I hope you don't mind me asking...

Hi Swan,
I wanted to get back and reply to your question about sensation and ability to orgasm.
The question of sensation is really subjective but I think it is fine. I can feel light touch on my labia.
Unfortunately I don't have a sexual partner right now, I am really curious how it would feel to receive
oral sex. When I still had my original parts I had a partner who would softly lick the areas right around
my scrotum, and it was incredible! That area is sensitive to touch but it doesn't seem quite as sensitive
as it used to. Its really hard to say if it is physiological or emotional, and touching something with your own
finger is different than a warm tongue. Ummm so ya I should stop, probably TMI.
I am orgasmic from clitoral stimulation. I haven't done much penetrative masturbation, but what I have done
has been pretty blah :-\. As far as the orgasms from clitoral stimulation they are good, well real good. But
at the same time I feel like I am hitting a plateau and that there is another level of orgasm deeper inside. I think
that is back to the need for a partner.
I agree with what I have read of other post-op people's experience, libido changes, the need for intimacy and
being in the right "mood."
I haven't really asked any other folks about their level of sensation/orgasmic ability.
There is a support group specifically for Dr Suporn patients and prospective patients on Yahoo. The address is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dr_s_club/ (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dr_s_club/)
You need to have an adult profile on Yahoo. The group is moderated so you need to apply. Expect a few days
to get membership. You could ask questions there. My impression from that group is that a high percentage
are very happy with their level of sensation. I have heard comments/criticisms of that group that it is just
"Suporn Cheerleaders". I'll leave that up to you if you decide to join.
Best Wishes,
Elaina

I also, had surgery with Suporn in November of 2009. I had an AMAZING time, I skipped over Chettawut immediately after meeting the staff and Suporn himself. I had a great experience, everything works exactly the way that it should; he went above and beyond my expectations. I manage to retain 7.5 inches of depth...you will have to do extremely rigorous dilation a full year after your surgery...it sucks...but at least now you can have as much sex with your boyfriend as you want.

Does SRS (specifically thinking of Suphorn) give you that portion of the clitoris that is not seen, like cis girls have? I never knew about that until coming to this site, so thanks girls!

Definitely Suporn is my first choice. I am kind of scared from the SRS so I guess that I am not ready for that... I am trying to book a holiday in Thailand and make appointments with several doctors and take it from there. Thank you for sharing your experience.
