Title: Do you believe in reincarnation?

I'm starting to believe in reincarnation, I guess you could say that I have a vested interest in it, mainly because I wouldn't have to worry about dying and never existing again. However, I've seen some documented evidence for reincarnation that I think is credible. At the very least it is proof itself of a spiritual world, and I've been in this limbo state of not knowing what to believe, so anything that can clarify what should I believe in is helpful.

I believe in reincarnation. I also believe that the spirit has a choice - reincarnate, Elysium/Heaven or remain earthbound.

I believe in reincarnation because of what I can remember,
and there is good evidence of it, this author has some amazing info
http://www.brianweiss.com/ (http://www.brianweiss.com/)
I also know why I am here in this body that I don't like
I had got so deep into social gender type for female that I was very unbalanced and it was starting to be detrimental to me,
so I decided to come back in the other gender in the plan that it would balance me out some,
I now stand up for myself as I never did in past lives,
this life is painful but I have learned much (nothing like pain to teach fast),
but I plan on next life being way better,
or maybe I am done with human form all together, there has to be way better things to be doing in the entire universe,
I will have to see when I get there

I believe in reincarnation to an extent. I like the thought of knowing that I will never have this body forever.

spirits are everywhere in infinite quantity,
they can bind to all sorts of matter,
could be a single electron
or an entire atom,
or a bacteria
or an animal
or a star,
or a galaxy
it is all stacked life inside of other life,
spirits learn how to control larger and larger things as time goes on,
the population could triple and spirits would just come form somewhere else or they could come back faster than they use to,
looking at people's last life stories it appears to be common that they would be on the other side for a few hundred years,
but more modern accounts show them coming back after only a few years.
my number one thought as to why people don't believe in reincarnation is that they have not done it before,
or they don't plan on it again.
or said another way:
just because it is possible to reincarnate does not mean that everyone or even many people do it

i've had a rollercoaster ride with my mental health... in the past i've been diagnosed with schizophrenia. i want to make that clear before talking about my experiences so that you can choose to associate it with my mental health problems if you prefer. i myself spent a long time battling with the dichotomy between a simple throwaway explanation of being mentally unwell, or whether what i have experienced comes from a spiritual source. i am a natural skeptic, so i like to be aware of all possible avenues and explanations before drawing any conclusions. i'm always hesitant to talk about these experiences since they're pretty weird and frankly make me sound like a complete lunatic, so excuse me if i'm a bit vague on some details as i feel uncomfortable about sharing them.
i have very strong memories of what seem to be various past lives. some flashbacks have been so intense they were crippling, one in particular in feudal japan. the memories have manifested through dreams as well as visions that hit me while awake. for a while i was so upset by these memories i couldn't really function. when i was a kid i was terrified of a bomb dropping on the house, for weeks i was scared to go to bed, which later seemed to emerge as a past life from the blitz.
when i was very ill, amongst other things i would go into a daze and these god-entities would talk through me and write messages through me about the world, humans, the universe, DNA, as an intense information overload. one of the things they spoke about were past civilisations and the formative moments of spirit within physical bodies. they talked about ancient civilisations before the rise of our current modern society, dating back tens of thousands of years, and how experiencing life with the restrictions being placed in a physical form creates enables us to learn about ourselves in a way that couldn't be achieved through an incorporeal existence. that spirit exists to create and discover and seeks to experience all that is in every way possible. that spirit is infinite and we never stop learning, which is why people say that some people seem like old souls.
as i said, this stuff came out of me when i was really unwell, so it could just be part of the schizophrenia. i don't really know what i believe, i know what i saw and felt. there was a lot more spiritual and psychic stuff going on, but i don't really want to go into it. the memories and the feelings those memories produced are still incredibly real, it's just easier not to think about them now.

Some of my bodily functions don't work so good anymore.
I think that might be a bad sign.

mmh... i've noticed this trend with a lot of folk who have an exclusive belief in reincarnation without any other substantial interest in the spiritual, and it seems to be a wish fulfillment ideology. most of us have a strong desire to do something great with our lives. the idea that we've already achieved that greatness is very attractive.
i can only tell you that my own memories, delusional or otherwise, are far from great. what i remember (in regards to this particular past life that affected me) is highly unpleasant, an unremarkable person, made memorable by a series of horrible events.
