I was watching that video last night and it's addictive. 

The part that got me was "Omg stop it there is a BIG difference between sex and gender."  I can see myself trying to have to explain that one day LOL.

Did you see the bloopers?  That was really fun to watch too.

LOL NO! I didn't know there was a bloopers video! I just thought it was HILARIOUS when he couldn't give himself a shot because the other day I was picturing myself doing that exact same thing!!!

Haha same here I don't like needles so it would probably be an hour before I could do it.

lol yes!!!!!!! I love how he can turn everything into a positive. He also shows a different side of trans in my opinion. Like he shows that not all trans have to act "macho" or whatever. It's really cool

Except women are perfectly capable of doing the same. And in fact they do. It's called staying true to yourself instead of allowing others/society to define you. It has nothing to do with being a man/woman/male/female. Staying true to yourself and being strong enough to be yourself is sexless/genderless, it's not "native" to men, women or anyone else, but to individuals regardless sex/gender.

I agree what you are saying but you are reading WAYYYY too much into this. We were talking about HIM in particular. Not society as a whole.

I'm talking about him, too... I'm not sure if you've watched any of his other videos where he talks about his identity...but "macho" doesn't spring to mind. If I remember right quite a few of his videos he talks about identifying as a fem guy and mind->-bleeped-<-ing people when they find out he's into women and identifies as a lesbian transguy. So, I dunno, talking about his "machoness" just seems like its denying the point of a lot of his videos, lol.

I think what we meant by "macho" was that it was cool of him just to act how he wants. Whether it be flamboyant or not. He's just himself. We didn't mean macho as in acting like some caveman hunter. But whatever. I shall just let this go :)

It was a play on words with irony.  Not being macho is macho.  Anyone can fall under that.
