Eddie Robinson was looking for a violent payback when he stabbed the eyes of a fellow inmate last April at the Broome County Jail, a prosecutor said Monday.

Jurors had been put on notice earlier by Judge Patrick H. Mathews that Brabham would testify in women's clothes. Brabham told the court that he's been a transsexual for the past five or six years. He also admitted to being a convicted felon and recovering drug addict, under questioning from Butler.
Brabham kept his poise and stuck to his story of being attacked. He said he wasn't able to fight back.
