Another offering, I Exist, is about how "Gay and Lesbian Middle Easterners who live in the United States must frequently combat the negative stereotypes revolving around both their sexuality and their race." The last film, Through Thick and Thin, explores "the lives of ten Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered binational couples who are facing the hurdles imposed upon them by the status quo, as thousands couples [sic] are hurting deeply in the United States."

Listed among the sponsors for the Human Rights Film Festival were not only the University of San Francisco's College of Arts and Sciences, Performing Arts and Social Justice group, and Gender and Sexualities, but the office of the university provost and University Ministry.
