Post by: deatsabat546 on February 23, 2012, 12:01:17 PM
well shoping at the local dept store by me. during busy hours  ( as male)
i walk over to the mens section to  browse  and when i get there i start to fell akward.  like i used to fell when i frist would shop for female clothings
so i turned and walked over to the womens section and started browsing there and felt perfectly fine

than when paying for the products the cashier gave me wired looks and i think thrying to figure out if i was shoping for me or my girlfriend couse of the things she said it was guit funny.

Ya back before I would always mumble something about "Her"  or pick up 1 guy thing like a tie.  I would never wear a tie voluntarily xD
I would say if you can jsut go shopping En Fem,  it's scarry as hell to go out the door, but when your at the store En Fem it's a lot more natural :)

I exclusively shopped in guy mode for decades starting in my mid teens. The first few times was weird but if you don't act "Guilty" no one thinks anything of it, or says anything at least which is fine by me. I even started venturing into exclusively women's shops.

One very nice factor about department stores is that there is both men's and women's dressing rooms. First you grab a pair of men's pants, size Gigantor, then browse for your fem stuff. When ready cover up the women's clothes with the pants, and head for the dressing room. NOT LOOKING GUILTY! lol. No more having to return stuff. Yes, even works for dresses.

I haven't been able to go to the men's clothing section in months. Totally feel awkward, like the spelling of the word "awkward".

Women's section? No problem. Right now I'm kinda blending my man-clothes and women's clothes when presenting. I try not to be one of "those" people you see on "people of Wal-mart" ...

I'm planning on going full Op so like I live fulltime En Fem, so I use the womens changing rooms and bathrooms and what not.

I shop all the time for women's clothes while male mode.  It doesn't seem like anyone gives it any notice at all.  Anyway...I don't care what anyone thinks.  I don't care if they know I'm shopping for myself.  There's no law against buying clothes you like.  I even had a woman that worked at the store ask me if I would like to try on an article of clothing once.  It so caught me by surprise that I said no, like it wasn't for me.  Of course when I tried it on at home it didn't fit and I had to return it.  She knew it wasn't going to fit me.  If it ever happens again I'm going to say yes.

The story that comes to my mind is when I was shopping for Pizza actually.  I didn't get a job I was up for cause well, I'm burned out and didn't do so hot in the interview.  Anyway, I'm there at the grocery store and I think the female clerk reads me so I just blurted out why I was buying the Pizza.  I forget her exact words that came in response but it was something that related to comfort food.  When I agreed that I was buying the food for comfort, it was like we clicked.  I still think she read me but after the moment when I disclosed why I as buying the Pizza, I really think she saw my soul rightly as that of another woman.  Even as I was leaving the checkout line she was trying to carry on our conversation cause I think she was enjoying it.

I know my voice isn't what it should be.  I've got my hang ups over all my testosterone induced mutations.  But I don't feel guilty and I don't act guilty when I'm presenting as myself.  That confidence does seem to be key.  And yeah, leads to a lot of kinda nice experiences.

I was shopping in boy mode yesterday and saw a cute top. I went the cubicle to try it on and the assistant asked if it was for somone in a cubicle and she would hand it her. I just told her it was for me. She didn't bat an eyelid and just told me the middle cubicle was empty. So I tried it on and I'm now the owner of yet another cute top
