Title: Making progress.

Tomorrow I have my second appointment with a GLBT-friendly clinic that provides therapy, support, general care, HRT, and legal help to people on the trans* side of things. At my first appointment, I met with their trans* representative, who was a pretty decent bloke. He asked me a bit about my identity and what kind of care I was looking for, and then I made an appointment for the medical intake on starting T...which is tomorrow. I'm not sure what to expect, really. I think he said they were going to talk about the effects of T and maybe draw blood if I consented to starting it, which is a bit nerve-wracking for me. I want to be on testosterone badly, but it's a whole new ball game. I'm not a big fan of doctors, really.
But all-in-all, the sooner I get a prescription, the better. I need this. I've been fighting far too long to give up now. Any words of advice on how to fight the pre-T nerves?

Congrats! I would say don't overthink things - just go with the flow. Don't be disappointed if actually getting your script will take a few weeks with bloodwork, etc. Remember this only happens once for most of us so think of the positives and of the fact that each day that passes brings you closer to your goals.
