Title: Hello World!
Post by: Claire25 on March 03, 2012, 07:57:18 PM
Hi everyone! My name is Claire. I am a 25 year old MTF Woman. I have been lurking the forums for about 4 months now and decided it was time to say HI! Since I was 7 I knew what I felt and that I had always wanted to be a woman. After years of thinking I was the only person(and possibly crazy). I finally decided that it was time for me to become me. My wife is sticking behind me on my transition <3 and I have a long road ahead of me. I just wanted to come in and say Hi and thank everyone here for the awesome community and friendship here. Look forward to talking with you all  ;D

Hi Claire,

Welcome to Susan's.. I know what you mean about the 'possibly crazy' thing.. I've known since I was a kid too, but knowing and accepting something are 2 different things..

Hugs,

Hi Clare,
Another warm Aussie welcome to Susan's. I'm so pleased you have eventually started on the road to discovery, of who you really are. That journey can relieve you of so much pressure, it's almost indescribable, let alone finding the absolutely awesome experiences and feelings that constantly reveal themselves to you.

I'm so pleased your wife is behind you. There is a Sigfinicant Others sections here that may be of interest to her. No doubt she has just as many questions, if not more than you, that may be answered for her there. At least she would find a tremendous support from others in a similar situation.

My guess is, if you are looking at taking this journey any further, finding a good therapist who is conversant with TG matters would be a substantial help to you both. Looking to hear more of you in the time to come. In the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Happy to say I have already joined Susan's and an now a fairly frequent poster in the SO forum. (Also very happy that my wife has joined as well, now that she is a poster I can stop abbreviating her name to 'C'.)

Welcome to Susan's.

Congratulations on the courage to start being your true self.

We may have been asked GypsySoul when you were going to join a few times ;)

You'll be surprised at how much stronger the two of your together can be as opposed to alone.  Good luck as you walk down the path and may you find few potholes.

Even with what I have experienced, this part could not be more true. Just telling someone made a huge difference to me.

Hi GypsySoul & Clare,
You both have made my day. There is family in family at Susan's. WOW
There's an old saying that goes something like; If one can get a 100, two can get 10,000.

You have an amazing dynamic to work, in, with and through. I can't believe the places it's going to take you both. Wish you all the very best. You are in fabulous shape.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
