Title: Photos of Chinese Spring Festival
Post by: barbie on March 07, 2012, 11:18:58 AM
An internet photo attracted my eyes. At first, I thought it was a window dummy, but later I found that it was the real legs of a young chinese woman who is trying to get into the train.

Some of my Chinese friends asked me whether we Koreans also celebrate the lunar new year. I replied that it is a 3-day holidays here. In China, they celebrate it far longer, upto for 1 month. Indeed, it is an event of human migration in such a short time and such a big scale (3.15 billion passenger flow during the 40-day season). It looks chaotic, but Chinese people may enjoy or endure it, because it is a happiest moment as they visit their home town to meet their family members.

Any way, she has very beautiful legs to my eyes.

Wow, that's a lot of people in the same area at one time. I can only imagine how nerve wracking this is but people will do it if it means going home.
