Hey guys,
Been sometime since I visited this site, but would love to get a bit more involved again in the online community.
I am a post-op trans woman. I've been through something of a meteoric transition and have had a couple huge years.
I can tell you that the other side is great for me. I have a great job, great partner, awesome friends. I still struggle with my mental health, being bipolar is rather tough and things have been particularly ->-bleeped-<- these last few months. But I am still here, and I'm more alive than I have ever been.
In the past I got a great deal from this site. It was my life line. I ended up leaving post surgery for feeling like it was time for me to move on, to find my place in the real world out there. But I hope that I can come help others along their journeys and share some stories.
Love
Nicole

Hi Nicole,
And a big warm Aussie welcome back. Thank you so much for letting us know what it's like on the other side. So excited to hear most everything has worked out so well for you. What an attractive line up of Oscars you have. Job, partner, friends and most of all, the woman you were destined to be. I think you hit the jackpot.
Really appreciate you coming back to give a helping hand to those following. I guess with time, you slowly forget the pain and anguish, blood sweat and tears that we go through to get to the 'Other Side.' It's nice to get a hand up occasionally, although the camaraderie, support and genuine relationship's that you can form here are absolutely second to none.
Hope to hear more of your story in time to come. In the meantime, be safe, well and happy
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Welcome back Nicole. I have a good friend who is a Lesbian Bipolar mother, so have seen some of the problems you would have faced. Anyone who can handle that is pretty amazing. I am happy that transition itself went well, and hope things improve otherwise.
Karen.

Hi Nicole, it's nice to meet you! Sharing is our specialty, and sometimes sharing is just what the doctor ordered to make you feel better. See you around, hugs, Devlyn
