Did it start out as thicker, longer fuzz?  I have suddenly started having black fuzz on my chin.  My "moustache" is blacker with wiry little sporadic hairs and my soul patch has about 5 stiff black hairs.  Other than downstairs and some subtle voice differences, this is the only noticeable change so far.  I take it that I should shave the fluff off?

Omg mine just started and I'm so happy. It's patchy and stupid looking. I have like five dark hairs on my chin, a few lighter ones along my jawline, and the stuff on the upper lip is getting thicker and darker. You should definitely shave your fluff off.

Yeah, mine started out as long peach fuzz too. It seems to be thickening up at random, so I'll have like one weird stiff hair sticking out of a patch of the fuzzy stuff.

It started out really really really short and thin, then slowly got thicker, darker, and longer. It's very patchy but the parts that have hair that I can easily see are sideburns, neck/underneath chin, and my lowest part of my chin. Lip hair isn't really visible except for a few hairs at the corners of my mouth.

Yeah, as a patch of dark, long fuzz under both corners of the chin.  It then got darker and thicker.  It seems to look funny on most people, but keep it if you like it.

Lee is right. It's like Jack Sparrow face fuzz, but in miniature.

And yes, I got the under the chin hair first like you, but my fuzz went from soft and short to coarse and dark really fast, like seriously, it felt like I woke up and went, "WTF? Where did THAT come from?"

Just like yours pretty much hah. My stache got darker hairs first, then I noticed a couple of chine hairs and a few on my soul patch as well. Now I'm starting to see a few more side burn hairs and longer peach fuzz

I've always had some hair on my upper lip, but the hair there got thicker. Then it came in outlining my face very lightly, below my chin and jawline. Then it started coming in thicker under the chin and the jaw/sideburns area and very lightly on my cheeks. I had a decent beard by 8 or 9 months but by far most of the hair was on the outline of my face. In the last month it's filled in a good bit more on my cheeks. I'm 1 year on T this month, btw.

It started out like sh*t. It didn't do anything... about 1.2 years on T it finally started coming in. I'm a t 1.5 years now and its coming in a lot better. My stache is dark enough that you can see it but its not coarse or thick...the hair on my side burns and under my chin is coarse and some what thick, the hair on my cheeks is starting to come in as well.

  I don't know if this helps but I didn't start growing any dark facial hair till around age 20 so it took a few years of puberty, before that it was just peach fuzz hair. I guess it depends on the individual because I was never able to grow a beard and yet one of my buddies was able to grow an Amish style beard no problem lol.

  I kinda lucked out compared to most mtf i didn't have alot of dense hair to get rid of and now it's almost completely gone.

Facial hair, still waiting it for something I can really see, but so far thin& dark.

Pre-t I had hair all over. Noticeable mustache to the point that when I would get my eyebrows done the lady would always ask upper lip? I always refused Lol. Its barely gotten any darker, but longer yes, more hairs? a few. I have a few hairs on my soul patch, that you cant really see. Mustache is the same but a little bit darker if I dont shave its really shadow-y and noticeable. I have this one long chin hair lol, seriously way longer than the others like as long as the hair on my arms. But you can see the shadows on my chin and jawline when I dont shave for a few months, thats why I like to keep it, it helps me look defined.

When I was nearing the end of high school, I started to get dark peach fuzz in the mustache area. and it pretty much stayed like that until I joined the RAF. then after after about 8 months, more facial hair came in at the soul patch and goatee area. I don't know why it took so long or if the shaving I was ordered to do encouraged the growth. But have patience, it will grow in eventually. of course your genetics will help play a part in how much you get.
BTW, which part of the face would you say was the most important to grow facial hair? Mustache? sideburns? I'm just curious. One of my brother in-laws was kind of jealous because I had hair that grew from the side of the mouth down to the goatee chin area and he didnt.
And I wonder, how many of you will, after 10 years of shaving, get to the point where you hate shaving...

I intend to hate shaving within a year of having to do it. I already hate showering. I used to do that once or twice a week, but since HRT I have to shower every day or I look and smell awful.
