Ok so what options do we have if our liver starts going bad? My lipids were "slightly elevated" on my test pre t and I have an ultrasound in the morning and a bloodiest Thursday, stressing my doc is going to take me off hormones, I can't go back to what it was, is there a non liver killing back up option if my body hates me?
Dunno if any of you have ever go e through that?
I don't think I'd have done lots of damage in a little over a month, but I'm more curious about the future, and just in general

Elevated lipids usually means you have cholesterol issues, not liver damage.

Ultrasound showed fatty liver and gallstones :/
Least I'll still be able to have HRT
But I'm gonna pass on the surgery for GS til it's required

Well the good news is that the gallstones and fatty liver are treatable - but your doctor will need to work out what's causing your fatty liver. I would imagine with that under control, HRT shouldn't be much of concern. With active liver concerns, though, your doctor may want to put you on a low dose of T. I don't know what other medical issues you have, so I can't predict if your doctor will consider T to be exacerbative or not.

Thanks Kruezfidel :)
Yeah happy it's all treatable, my lipids were slightly elevated BEFORE I started t, so I'm not as worried now :) was more curious about what options are there for people IF their livers go to ->-bleeped-<-.
FL is from being obese >_< but again, already doing something about that :) so pretty relieved :)
