Title: Approval letter from the ministry of health
Post by: Laura Emily on March 21, 2012, 08:29:00 AM
I live near Toronto, so I went through Camh and everything has gone well. I had my approval appointment eight weeks ago and have not received any letter in the mail yet. I know the government is slow, but it's getting depressing waiting on it. So I guess I'm just wondering how long people have waited before receiving theirs? Is there a number to call if it was lost in the mail?

The real cost of government health care:
Inefficiency
Quotas
Rationing
Ineptitude
... and just not giving a damn.

I confess, I know nothing of the Canadian health system. But can you check up on the web for these people?

As I said, I don't know anything of the system itself, but simply wish you well and hop to offer some encouragement.

I tried searching the ministry of health and long term care website but didn't find anything. I'm waiting on the approval letter for surgery and funding. Thanks for the replies :)
