Has anyone else seen this documentary?

Scared the bejezus outta me.

We are raising amerikan kids ready to go to war over their dogma, just like kids in Afghanistan.
They even pledge allegiance to their own "christian" flag!

But it was the kid in the combat fatigues and the war paint that freaked me out the most.

Are we on the verge of a new crusade? Or, are we already there -- in Iraq?

I think that we are already there Thundra. Pretty sad isn't it?

I never thought that I would see this happen in my country.

That documentary is so even-handed that Pentecostals are buying it to give to family and friends -- and to proselytize with.

If you want to get even more freaked out, watch it again with the commentary track turned on.  The directors reveal even more tidbits.

And I loved the way they captured Ted Haggard at the height of his power, before the male masseuse outed him...

It's so funny. My MCC pastor back in the springs used to go and have these conversations with Ted and the boys at New Life, as well as, FOTF. She used to note how these guys set off her gaydar. 

Then, having never met this guy myself, I see him on screen, and I am like.......Wow!  That boy is sooooo gay.  LOL.  But I was creeped out too, when I saw how he interacted with the boys. It didn't seem like a mature male taking to a couple of boys. I wonder if the guy is a pedophile too?

These people are determined to turn this country into a theocracy. The last election was a setback for them, but we all still need to be vigilant and to vote for our interests. If we don't get civil rights legislations passed while they are temporarily relieved of power, than we are all screwed once they recoup that power.

It won't make a difference if you are gay, lesbian, queer, bisexual, transgendered, transsexual, or stealth.  Because they will be going after anyone that doesn't believe what they believe.

We all know that the cross was the instrument Romans used to excecute people. On the reverse of these PJ's (not shown in pictures) is the modern version; a revolver. ;)

When I saw that documentry it gave me nightmares... it gave pretty much everyone I know nightmares...

Whats really sad, people like us will speak out, but we dont speak loudly enough, or forcefuly enough to get into the brains of the small minded...  we are as lost to them as they are to us...
