Title: I hate TN

Grrrrr!
I got back a little bit ago from eating dinner out. We had run by the tattoo shop and I dropped off Shannon to get a new pieces symbol on her arm with a fairy on her shoulder with a fishing pole to the zodiac symbol. Nic already had a lot of the drawing done (I had set up the appointment last week when I set up my next leg sleeve appointment). Since he was so close to being ready she said for me to take the kids on to dinner and just pick her up after running some errands.
So they decide to go to Texas Roadhouse. I dislike the place because I despise country music and when I didn't pass well they were judgmental and now that I do usually they are still judgmental because I'm with another woman. It isn't the staff, but rather just the type of locals it draws. Anyway I was gendered properly and totally passing the whole meal. So we get to the end and she is still ma'aming me. She leaves the check and I give her my debit card. Unfortunately we'd had some fraudulent charges against one of the two different cards and the bank had reported my card stolen without telling me. I happened to have a hundred dollar bill from a previous withdrawal so I had cash to pay, but then her manager came out and asked for both my ID and my debit card. Once she sees the ID she says she'll have to check it out and goes off in the back for 5 minutes or so before I finally get my change and license and debit card back.
The problem is that TN won't let me change my marker under "full sex change surgery". My name is legally Jeneva and that does show on my license, but I have a $%)(#&$% M in the gender spot. So now after passing just fine all evening I have to out myself. I deeply resent the stupid backwards politicians that make me more of a "suspect" because I am different.
This just cements in my mind that having an orchi later this month is the right path. I may be able to use that to get my marker change (or I may not....), but if there is ANY chance I can then it is worth it.
