A reader writes: "I am curious to know of any experiences, negative or otherwise, you or your readers may have had with airport security in these times of full-body scans and/or pat-downs.
"Those of us who are transgender may, thanks to hormones, convincingly appear to be the desired gender, but the full body scan or pat-down, especially for those of us who have not had surgery, will surely reveal that all is not what it appears to be, with the consequent risk of embarrassment or worse.
