Chase Kelley
A 20-year-old Germantown man told Memphis police that being transgender motivated an assault that left him with a concussion last week, according to police.
Memphis police on Wednesday charged Chase Kelley, 18, of Memphis, with aggravated assault. Kelley was released from Shelby County Jail with no bond required, according to court records.

Eighteen-year-old Chase Mason Kelley attacked the man Saturday night, punching him repeatedly until the victim was unconscious reported WREG. The police report says the brother of the perpetrator also tried to hit the victim with his Jeep, but failed.

(Memphis) Chase Mason Kelley, 18 years old, is facing charges of aggravated assault after Memphis Police report he beat up a man because he is transgendered.
According to the police report, the 20-year-old victim arrived at Methodist Germantown with several bruises and concussion.
The victim told police he went to meet Kelly Saturday night at the intersection of Yates and Poplar and Kelley attacked him, punching him until he was unconscious.
