im pretty sure im able to get the funding to get the surgeries i want
but now that im aware its very possible and real that i can do this , im feel really anxious about the fear of going to a foreign country to go under scared of the recovery etc
i think its mainly becuase ive never been overseas so the anxiety of that plus the anxiety of travelling their for surgery
is this normal did anyone else feel scared months before it was even going to happen ?

Of course it's normal to be anxious. I certainly was in a similar boat. In the end, if you want something badly enough, you'll go through with it. Everything seemed daunting to me, and it still does seem that way. As my travel date fast approaches, I can say with confidence that I'm not scared; I'm mostly just worried about logistical issues, such as flight layovers, etc. Overall, I'm more excited than nervous now, as this is something I've been waiting for for years that will finally come to pass.

Now being kinda old, I surely 'could do' with a face lift - if I had the funds.
It's a bit different to your issue, because due to lack of funds I have this 'excuse' not to do anything face-lift, - never mind FFS.
Had I the funds, the jig was up... to do or NOT to do?!
I'd be frightened and then some, not getting used to my 'new' face. In fact it could make me feel disenfranchised from MYSELF?! - at least for some time. THIS, is a recipe for depression par excellence - my feeling.
Bottom line? If not at ALL felt necessary/needed, never mind the scars, bad pain, swelling and - questionable results? - if in doubt, DON'T do it.
It's where I stand with this issue.
Also, I will never look like a 'model' either which way... So ALL comes down to some VERY sane personal judgement.
I also be actually very nervous, by people I know telling me it was all 'for nothing' and that by now - they'd REALLY think me a freak.
This happens to ggs doing facelifts, - people ripping the mouths off about how she had surgery and how much it had cost!!! and the scars, and how lacking the results were, and, and, and.
Go to any hair-dresser/stylist and just LISTEN! Only jealousy? Maybe some but not all.
In the end - it really all depends, eh?

'overseas' is full of foreigners so practice by seeking out the ethnic parts of your hometown.
blank off the pre surgery nerves and concentrate on how happy you may be afterwards.
