Title: Just wondering...
Post by: Alexis on May 16, 2012, 09:32:38 AM
Just got back from my endo, and I'm mildly freaking out right now. My T has come back to almost where my baseline levels were. She told me not to be concerned and we upped the dosage of Spiro again, and she's got a lot of experience and seems to know what she's talking about, but I'm still kinda in panic mode.
My baseline total T just for reference was 475 (E was 35); and we started at 'X' dose of spiro
At three months it was 237 and E was 137; we upped spiro to 2x
Today, T was 450; so we upped the dose again from 2x to 4x
The only thing that changed from the beginning to today was that for the past 4 weeks I haven't been able to run like I usually do since I worked up a good runner's knee. Taken my meds all at the same time, twice a day, same conditions and everything.
Has anyone else had this happen?

I haven't had or heard of any result changes like these due to injury or decreased activity.
It sounds like your endocrinologist is doing things safely and correctly.
Dont despair I'm sure it all will turn around for you.
It will be interesting to see if when your knee gets better whether or not there will be a significant drop in your T-level.
Repost updates if you can please. It's very interesting and I would appreciate info like this.
