Title: How should a binder fit? Is everything coming out the top?

Hi there!
I got my first binder today and it's t-kingdom's Model 801. Problem is when I put it on it seems to compress in the middle of my chest right over the majority of everything but then goes a little lose at the top, making everything look like it's just been pushed up.
As this is my first binder I don't really know allot. Does this happen with all of them, or is it just me? I've tried all different ways of arranging myself so it doesn't happen but it mostly just seems to make my chest look deformed so that where the most compression is it looks as if my chest is caving in a little.
Could it be that I have the wrong size or wrong sort of binder or myself? I was going to send it back and get Model 1480 as it looks as if the binding material does higher and I can adjust it more.
I would just like to know if I'm doing anything majorly wrong before I waste the time effort and money in doing so. Thanks.

That's what I feel the t-kingdom binders do. For me, the binding area of the t-kingdom binder sits too low where I spill out of the top. Try pushing your chest towards your armpits.

Thanks for getting back to me. And I've done that, it still seems to give me the same results more or less.

The only thing to move is the zipper on the front.

Quote from: A.T on May 26, 2012, 01:10:58 PMYea, I've seen that one. I mean if you were to take the shoulder straps (the strap that goes over the shoulder and connects the back to the front) and have them shortened, remove a bit of fabric from there so the whole front of the binder is up higher. Would that work? If you just pinch off a bit of the fabric there it could give you an idea of what the difference would be.

Quote from: Nygeel on May 26, 2012, 01:15:48 PMSorry, thought you meant it had straps. I've just done that and there isn't a whole lot of difference. It just seems to cave a little in the middle because that's where it's tightest.

You might be able to take it in some at the armpits to get a tighter fit at the top.
