Title: cried a river on the bus
Post by: Stephanie_b on June 04, 2012, 08:27:50 AM
:embarrassed:   okay so i was on a public transit bus this morning and was listening to Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" song.  Wrong choice I guess because it made me cry for like 5 minutes, couldn't stop for the life of me.

I was in a terrific mood just prior too.  Anyone else experience this sort of thing?

The handful of songs/albums that make me feel very deeply are among my most treasured possessions.  I've heard them so many times that they are completely ingrained in my head, but I think about them and put them on very rarely because I like having something that makes me feel a certain way, if that makes any sense. There are a few movies that are the same way for me.

The worst are the few songs that played over the PA at various jobs I worked - some of them are very bad songs attached to good memories.

Emotions are fun :D Normally I can control myself pretty well in public... but sometimes not so well. Like, a friend pointed out my makeup one day when we were out (which i figured she thought it was bad), I ended up crying the entire way in the car as she drove home (she felt sooooo guilty lol) and then a couple more hours at home ~_~

Meh, hormones just make us sensitive to stuff now and then. It is fun.

Hehehe, estrogen.  Luckily I was at the back so I don't think anybody saw.  But I was like, "wow, I just had a good cry.  Awesome!"   ;D

And seconds after the cry I was ecstatic again.   ;)

I am generally a Vulcan when it comes to emotions.  Too many years getting bullied because of them.  But some song tear me up.

Especially this one.  It was me and my ex's song.  But I am getting better at hearing it.

After All - Peter Cetera / Cher (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwtSvI6ZicQ#)

Sorry if I made you cry.   (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-1.gif&hash=4a7edb8e10f639196821bd403e6dc36860459f64)

There are some songs that can bring a tear to my eye, but I more often tend to get emotional and cry over real life happenings
