Title: Ordered my first packer today
Post by: A.T on June 10, 2012, 04:11:12 PM
No real question, I'm just very excited and thought I would share.

I got the Mr Limpy extra small as I've heard it's the one size that doesn't make you look like you have a big boner and the price was affordable. Now I just have to find underpants that make it and me look at my best and most natural. I was going to get normal fitted boxers and just seeing if they would be enough to hold everything in place, if not I would sew in a little pocket for little me.

The song dick in a box has never meant a better thing for me.

How did you guys feel when you ordered or got your first? I want all the 1st packer stories you have for me. Bring it.

I was sort of wary, 'cause I'd only attempted packing with socks or the condom/hair gel method with no good results. I finally got my packer, though, and it's sort of like my prosthetic now. I feel pretty comfortable with it and happy that I chose to get it. I can't wear it with boxers if I don't have a jock strap or bike shorts, but that's okay. I tend to wear briefs and things when I need to pack, so it's all good.

I think socks tend to be almost everyone's first packer. And I've never thought of briefs, no idea why but thank you for making me think of it Zerro.

Yeah, comfortably-fitting(basically, not-too-tight, but not too loose) briefs are great for packing long-term. They tend to hold things in place, and I've not had my packer fall out just yet when using them.

I'm going to try it with the boxers first and if that does't work as well as I like at least I now know there's the next easy option instead of pocketing or layering. Thanks for the great tip.

Hah I was dead excited when I had to wait for my first packer to come in. Mr Limpy XS, same as you.

I stuffed it down my pants almost immediatly after unpacking (and cornstarching) it. But we had to go and do groceries shortly after and I was very much afraid that it would end up down my leg and on the floor.  ;) I wasn't sure if it was looking right and stuff because it was so BIG when wearing it those first few days/weeks. But soon I found out the best way for me to wear it and how to hang it.

I don't wear it directly into my undies anymore though because I don't like the feel of the Limpy against my skin. The starch sort of sweats off and it's just sticky then. So I made a harnass out of a boxer by using the double fabric layer on the front part as a pouch, cutting the rest off and then attaching some elastic band. Wait.. I'll make a picture.. ;)

But aye, good for you man. Hope it feels good for you.

First off congrats for your first packer! :)

My first packer was extra special because this was my first purchase that no one knew about as I used a prepaid debit card given to me for Christmas (which at first I was upset about) and I don't want a bank account or paypal. I spent a long time deciding where I should get my packer online.  Once design had the scrotum design I wanted but the other didn't but the price was cheaper.  I went for the slightly higher priced one from Early2Bed.  To my luck they were backordered so I had to wait about an extra week.  My mom had finally told me that I got a package and I was so happy.  I just looked at the package for 5 minutes and even smelled the box before opening it.  That's when I was told by my mom that I needed to do some cleaning lol.  After that I went back in and actually put on some music from the video game Uncharted as I slowly opened the box.  I read the little notes in there and behold my packer!  At first glance I was really upset because I ordered the pink packer but it was less pink than to my expectations but I got over it and I stuck it in my pants.  When I did that my desire for bottom surgery immediately skyrocketed.

I don't pack with it in public.  I rarely pack at home now.  I look at it more like a novelty now.  It's a great thing to just have sitting beside you lol.  I only pack when I am dysphoric and need something to grab.  I love the fact that it sticks out so it look like I have an erection.  That's always fun.  :)

Here, harnass pictures. So these were normal boxer briefs. Cut around the front seam and along the elastic band. (make sure the underwear you use has a double fabric front, most have that, but not all)

Front view, has a small hole cut into it. This is where the shaft hangs from.
(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft414%2FSiddhin%2F2012-06-11180412.jpg&hash=99778d8d6d1b304f4d80a5c4dd91072effbb6158)

Rear view, you can see another hole in the fabric. This is a slit to insert the packer into the 'pouch'.
(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft414%2FSiddhin%2F2012-06-11180427.jpg&hash=cd246a0df29c4319ef1a07a9e0f8ad998a2d9307)

The elastic bands make sure the packer doesn't end up too high, making it look like you have a boner or just weird downstairs growth. Just sew them to the end of the pouch and put the harnass on. The elastic goes through your legs and to the side. Feel where they are comfy and tight enough. Pin (or hold) and sew them, basic sewing skills are all you need.. ;)

For myself, this was the most comfortable way to pack with the Mr Limpy.

Dude thanks for sharing pics of the harness you made Nathan! Ever since you mentioned it I've been meaning to try to make one the same way.

And yesss I was majorly excited over my first packer, also the x-small Limpy. It's still probably the most comfortable packer for me as it doesn't shift too much on me. I was afraid it'd be kind of awkward opening the package for the first time, even though I was completely alone, but it wasn't, I was just relieved at how much better I felt with it (socks were my prior packing material too and man was that uncomfortable for me).

Nathan90 - Lol I have the urge to say packer twins! I also have to admit I'm a little worried about if I will feel it's rather big down there the first few times also, but I think that's just because there is really, nothing now. But your harness looks an awesome companion for a packer! And also looks simple enough to follow (thankfully I come from a family of seamstress so I'll know what to do when it comes to it), if's definitely something that I would fall back on if what I try does not work out. So thanks allot for that and I'm sure others will thank you for it too.

Malachite - 1st off, nice game choice  ;) . Secondly, the way that I have just ordered mine is exactly the same, no one but my mum knows yet and I can not imagine telling her about something like that. Besides, it would be my junk, I don't want to discuss my junk with my mum. Luckily for me I'm always getting packages due to work so it wont stand out me getting anything like it. I just hope to batman that it doesn't have any stickers on the outside saying where it was ordered from. That would be awkward to get around.

fatalerror - Another packer twin... triplet now. It's great to hear that someone finds it so comfy. And that it's a definite improvement on socks :D. I was just wondering because I've heard of people not cornstartching to get it to move less if it's something you did?

Justin 21 - Where did you get yours from and did you order it on a weekend?

And it should be coming today or tomorrow. Damn I can't wait.

Ok, well I had a really odd experience, that could have been *very* embarrassing. A neighbor came over and said she had my package. I knew exactly what it was but fortunately it was not opened! I looked at it over and over and it had not been opened.

I do not pack, as I am genderqueer and do not in any sense pass. But I do like the packer. I feel different somehow with it but am out of explanations. I cant' really have it next to my skin as I immediately break out.

aleon515 - Lol, you got away luckily without it being opened. Some people don;t even look at the address before they open it. May I ask why you break out? I was wondering if it's due to the packer material or your own skin, I only ask because of having skin problems myself.

Justin 21 YAY! I'm happy for you! Now go enjoy your balls.  :D

Okay guys, I've got it!

My packer came in the post this morning and I've just tried it with different underwear so far. It does seem to stick out and give the boner effect quite a bit. I don't know if there is anyway to combat this. It just seems that there is quite a bit of bulk and the packer would do well to remove some of it bringing the smooth back closer to the from details and giving less space in-between. So it looks like it id going to take me a while to figure out how to wear it perfectly without having a constant hard on look.

But good news is that everyone else in the house had no idea what was in the package when it came.

I have done this-- opened without looking at the address (though letters more than packages). You have a lot longer that you are looking at a package, trying to figure out how to open it. :)
Good thing.

As for breaking out. I get kind of a rash that looks a lot like heat rash. It actually doesn't matter so much if it touches my skin as I still get it, maybe not so bad, leading me to believe it might actually be heat rash. I am not sensitive to the material so much as I can touch it and handle it without problems. I believe it doesn't let you breathe so well. That said I think not touching your skin is probably a bit better. Just regular baby powder (without talc-- you don't want talc anywhere near you at all bad stuff-- they make a corn starch one-- works nicely). Though now my bathroom is covered in powder.

I'm just getting the real magick basic which is silicon, we'll see if this helps. If the problem is mostly heat and breathing it should not. If it some degree of sensitivity to the material it should help. I don't know that anybody packs with Mr. Right but that one is silicon too.

It sucks that wearing a packer makes that happen to your skin, but I hope that your new one helps in some way. If it is a breathing problem there are some lotions that you can use that are mostly meant for eczema but also work well on cooling the skin down. I would ask your pharmacist about one if you were interested at all to find what one would be best for your skin (and won't ruin the packer in any way).

Well I don't actually pack in the traditional sense, being that I am genderqueer and not ftm. But the cream suggestion is a good idea. Thanks.
It is really hot here, btw, about 95 in the middle of the day, so that could be a lot of the problem.
