Title: Will I ever be able to sleep on my belly again?><
Post by: GhostTown11 on June 17, 2012, 10:34:17 PM
I ask cause can I can fill now a 32b and I haven't even finished my third month on hormones. And they still HURT. All. The. Friggin. Time. I mean damn my mom is a 36D but I thought I'd have a lot less growth being skinny and all. But seriously when do they ever just become 'normal' and not painful. Ouch.

Damn... and I thought I filled out fast having a 34B 9 months in.

I sleep on my belly all the time, even when they hurt. Just don't put any pressure on the nipples. Also you can try putting your hands between your cleavage and the bed, or crossing your arms and laying on them if you have a soft bed.

I thought I was weird sleeping on my belly! it really is the best way for me to sleep. Not the only way, but just the best *sigh*

That must suck. As a belly sleeper, I could probably not get used to sleeping another way...

But then, I guess I should be grateful that what breast sensitivity I've had is nearly nonexistant, compared to what I've heard on these forums. 'Tis a double-edged sword, though; my mom and sister are substantially bigger than your mom's D, and I have yet to see much of those genes for myself.

... Ah well. Hopefully my metabolism will slow down a little (or a lot) in the months or years to come.

Maybe you'll be more comfortable lying ontop of a special someone?  ;D

I'm wondering the same thing myself. I've been on hrt for 9 years now and my breasts are still as sore as ever.

Lolol, are those breasts on steroids or what? And die for having just a 32-inch rib cage, okay?

Aaaanyway. I still don't have any visible growth (or very little of it, at the nipples), but I do have the pressure sensitivity - bumped into a doorway yesterday, ouch. I manage to sleep on my belly fairly well still. My rib cage is huge, so sometimes I just use my lower ribs as a support (I feel like a boat), and it's fine because my chest itself doesn't really support any weight. Not mega comfortable but does the job. But my favourite technique is putting my pillow on my chin and upper chest, "hugging" it with both arms and using it as a support. Almost no contact in the "risk area".

If none of that works, well, sleeping on the side might be something to try. I actually find that comfortable if I can mimic the comfy feeling of the bed in my face and such by hugging something big. A lump of covers, a plushie or a pillow.

Well my mom said she was pretty flat chested until she turned 16 (for which my aunt teased her about and ironically now my mom is a cup bigger than my aunt and shorter) so I guess it's not too far-fetched that I would have had similar development if I were a gg. And yes! I loooove the hugging technique (and my cat gets somewhere in there too). They're not on steroids,  maybe it's me or maybe...it's maybelline.

*lol*
This thread makes me feel better.  I haven't been able to sleep on my tummy for the last 6 weeks (ever since I started spiro).
They've got to give up being pressure sensitive at some point don't they?  Anyone?

My mom always used to take naps on the floor on her stomach...she'd always have her arms crossed under her chest and I, in my naivete at the time, couldn't figure out why...

Maybe try that?

I can still sleep on my front, but I surround myself with cushions. One cushion under my stomach is enough support. I had to learn to sleep on my back too. No way can I can sleep on my back completely flat, so I place a number of cushions behind my head to raise it. Once you've experienced a few stays in hospital, you force yourself to learn to sleep on your back.

Like I said, 9 years on hrt now and they are as tender and sore as ever. Haven't slept on my tummy since 2003.

I be concerned about my nipples leaking. It does not take much at all for the milk to come out.

I am a full 36C with tangerine sized lumps of tissue and the only way I can sleep on my stomach is with an egg crate mattress topper. They are so soft that your breasts will sink down it in. Works good.
