Title: Harnesses and feeling
Post by: xander on June 28, 2012, 01:08:59 AM
so i'm looking to purchase a good quality harness.
I'm small and have no hips or ass so a lot of harnesses just don't fit right.

i'm also curious about what harnesses still allow some feeling of the prosthetic rubbing against you. I've heard guys talk about this (cant remember where).

For serious play, I have a leather one which I particularly bought because it doesn't have a single strap that um, goes up the butt, it has two straps which go around your legs and is MUCH better at transmitting feeling and way more comfortable. Something to think about.

I know some vegans and such have an issue with leather, but this IMO is the best. Especially if you have no butt as you say, it may stay on better? I got it here in the States from a site called JT STOCKROOM.

Have fun! :D

Does this harness tighten (and stay tight well)? I've used some leather ones before but because i've always been skinny and had no hips it would either fall off while i was using it or just not even fit me in the first place.

Yes, I think because of the double straps that helps it stay tight. You may have better luck looking for one with this style? I think it was about $65, which isn't cheap, but I take my play very seriously and have gotten a lot of bang for the buck out of this thing. And it has lasted for years with a lot of rough use!
