I have been looking for a therapist for a while now but I can't seem to find one that has any experience in gender identity. I go to twenty10 groups occasionally when work permits, but from what I can find they only really have small counciling sessions. Anyone able to suggest someone or anything?
Also any information on waiting time and cost would be helpful, I am kind of doing this on the sly has I want to maybe talk to someone before I sit my mother down for another talk, last time didn't go over so well and I could maybe use a few pointers.

Thanks
I emailed them once but all I got was a generic reply. Might need to try again

Unfortunately the only one I know of still doing it is Dr Patrick Toohey. And in my experience, if you're young, you won't be getting a letter any time soon from him and you can expect a lot of "I know better than you" attitudes.

I think Dr Tom Hance is still in practice as well, but I found his style didn't gel with me - I only saw him the one time, and his conclusion for me was to go away, get laid and then to call him. >.>
The Taylor Square Clinic (private GPs) may have some idea as well as to who to see.
