Title: Forehead+hairline modification: Would the scar be visible with a ponytail?
Post by: aibeecee on July 06, 2012, 04:36:59 PM
I'm planning to undergo FFS by the beginning of 2013. As my brow bone is quite prominent, I would need a forehead modification.

Does anybody know whether the scar would still be visible after let's say one year if I'd wear a ponytail? If yes, would make up probably help to conceal it?

Just for those who are interested - I found it out myself by asking a FF surgeon:
In forehead surgery which doesn't involve a hairline advancement the incision is usually made on the crown of the head. Wearing a pony tail should not reveal the scar as hair loss in the incision area would generelly be only temporary and mild.
