hey guys, doing a project on how transgendered individuals choose to portray themselves in society (throughout the world), just wondered if anyone knows of any books that i can use to access this kind of information or any tips/information that may be useful to me.

It has been a while since I've read it but sexual metamorphosis was really good. It's an anthology of memoirs. I'm not entirely that it is what you're looking for but it's worth a gander.

I've read a few. I like "The Testosterone Files", "Becoming a Visible Man", and I think my favorite is "Just Add Hormones".  It's great as I can take out books from the trans center free.
