Title: Tucking

I am a really hopeless and stupid case, because tucking always gives me a hard time... All the methods I read, about placing your testicles in some secret place, and your penis backwards, I just don't get it. It just doesn't work for me... I haven't encountered a method that would be pretty simple and accurate. As for now, I am using shaping underwear, but it's really no good, because it simply causes pain for the parts of the body where the underwear ends, where there this rubber is, and after some time of walking in it, my genitalia simply tend to move forward, so it can be really embarassing if someone noticed. Do you have any easy, working for you methods, that will keep it in place all day long? It can be really tight, I do not mind that. Please help, I really don't know what to do. Thank you

There is information in the wiki section on tucking and taping, take a look! Hugs, Devlyn

I read wiki before posting. Tape is simply too hurtful, and too much of a fuss really... If I were a drag queen then for one night it would seem reasonable, but as every day routine it's simply too much. As for the gaff, I turned out to be not skilfull at it, because I couldn't create it, partly because I don't have the sewing machine, and second of all, there is the same problem as with the shaping underwear, the rolling of the material, the top rolling tends to be so tight that it causes pain and redness, let alone irritation throughout the whole day, so I am still looking for an idea.
I sort of figured out some idea myself, though it's only my vast imagination lol, an underwear, sort of usual, but at the beginning of the underwear (meaning the sort of fold, it's not a fold, it's the place where the penis is, the crotch) would be some sort of something hard and elastic that wouldn't let the penis go forward, so it would be simply kept in place, if you know what I mean.
Please, share your suggestions, since I really need it. :(

I really was thinking about tight girly underwear! I think I will give that a go. Nothing to loose :D Though I am not from US, so shipping would kill me, though I know it doesn't have to be a specific type of this specific underwear, though I would feel securer buying this exact type since it worked for you :) Wish we had walmart in UK :(
Is the underwear getting into your bum-ring? I really hate when underwear gets there, it's soooo annoying and gross. Does this one go there?
What does it mean 9-pack/7-pack?

I am sure that underwear panties for little kids are far more comfortable to wear than adult's. The quality and price is far better.
9-pack means the pack contains 9 panties. Thus the price for each is $6.94/9 = $0.77. You can not compare this with Victoria's secret, which provides similar things at >10 times more expensive price tags.

Gaffs that I've used are rubbish on their own. At the momemt, I use one gaff and two pairs of briefs which are one size too small. But there's no way you can look "natural" unless you do taping. Taping is not practical when you're in an office eight hours. And there's some very distracting pain after just a couple of hours with tape. After 15 years of trying find a solution, I suddenly had an epithany: SRS.

Yea, right, but since I can't get it now, I have to tuck. It's highly embarassing, I know it's my fault, but I own up to the fact that I literally screwed up, but I got clocked because of it, so it's a must. Can't make this mistake again.
Barbie, do you think that any girly underwear would do? And what size should I choose? Tell me about your experience.

I've been stealth for the last 15 years and haven't yet had SRS. So tucking is critical for me too. I've been using three pairs of plain cotton briefs worn together with everything folded back. But the briefs have to be one or two sizes smaller than your size.

I am still under impression that it would move forward... :s How was your experience? Did it stay in its place? Didn't you feel uncomfortable, irritated? Did the back of the underwear tend to get into your bum-ring?

Yes, it can still move forward, but slowly. What I can do is pop to the bathroom and re-adjust. Sweat helps the thing to 'stick' in place. All tucking I've tried has its limits on the length of time before irritation kicks in. The tight briefs start digging in around the hips, for example. Normal briefs don't tend to ride up. But gaffs are designed to go into the crack, supposedly to wedge everything in place. I don't like it either.

I dont tape, unless I am wearing a tight pants/skirt/dress.. as mentioned here.. good for shorter periods
My everyday look
I pull my penis downward, similar to a tuck (It looks similar to a vagina)... so the shaft points toward my feet..then I put on a cotton thong.. to keep everything in check and then a pair of panties over that to ensure nothing falls out or wonders.. works for most outfits.
Its easy for bathroom breaks.. and does not hurt me.
PS.. The thong felt weird at first.. it was weird going into my bum.. but now I actually find it very comfortable. you don't really feel it there after wearing it for a while.. only when you bend you feel it pull.. I kinda like that feeling.. :D You feel weird after taking off.
I can understand why so many woman wear thongs/g-strings and I have spoken to many that say I love them and even some say that they will wear nothing else...
I would love to wear a g-string.. but they dont have enough room.. for my penis ... so I stick to thongs. one day when I am post op..

After finding the cavities for "the boys", pull the penis back and under the torso, towards the butt. Don't just flop it back, it must be mildly taut. I can't find my cavities with fingers, but "the boys" go right in; it's easier now after a few months on HRT, before it was a little uncomfortable. To put them in: While standing, let them hang free and lift them straight up at the same time. They should fit to either side of, and just behind, the base of the penis.
Put on either a 2-sizes too small undies, or "body-shaper" nylons with the legs mostly cut off (leave about 1"-2" of leg-fabric). Pull on the back of the nylons, thru the leg-holes and near the crotch, to make the front area TIGHT against the organs...while holding this tight, remove the hand which was holding things in place, and use it to snug up the undies/nylons all around. This holds me in even during long shifts.
If chafing is a problem (and believe you me, you don't want chafing!), use 3-4 squares of soft toilet paper...fold them into a trapezoidal shape (think triangle with one corner cut off), and place it between the penis and the fabric. If needed, make 2 more and put them at the thigh contact line.
If everything is snug, nothing should move. I've even swam for almost 2 hours without dislodging anything.

If you bring your thing far enough backwards, the farther it will come forward will be under you, which still doesn't show much if at all, unless you're wearing a bikini or some other especially revealing thing. And then, if it does go that way, subtly pull your underwear up a little or just go to the bathroom (I generally go to the bathroom every hour and a half anyway) to place it correctly again.
Don't be afraid to use the foreskin to its fullest, and to use your bosoms as a "pinch" to hold it there. Just make sure you don't overdo it and it hurts when you sit. As a bonus, it serves as stretching to minimise HRT shrinkage.
As for underwear, I personally use - for now, anyway - men's Snob boxers. They do the job magnificently. I can pull them up quite high to maximise the durability of the tuck, and since they're boxers, they don't particularly hurt between the bosoms if I pull them up. I'd guess female underwear would make it harder because they typically don't go up very high.
I'm not full-time yet so it's more or less normal, but even if I were, I don't think I would mind wearing guys' underwear too much until SRS. I mean, it's not like anyone would see, and women's underwear just isn't designed to be holding that sort of junk, is it?

@crowcrowcrow, the gaffs from the breast form shop work well (they''ve a UK site) but I can definitely empathise withthe initial difficulty of sorting out the wiring. Keep trying with the forwards, up and sideways move on the little lads followed by a push it ALL back out the way for the rest of the undesirables and it'll all suddenly make sense. It worked for be but I haven't yet found a way around the rearwards chafing.

Well... Guess there is no perfect option, as there is no perfect world. Still, I can live with chafing, but not with the "boys" moving forward, and by the end of the day my genitalia end up right at the beginning where they used to be, just because of the shaping underwear they are a little bit squeezed, hence smaller. Though I am gonna try the girly underwear first, hope it does the job for me

Not that I noticed...the "holes" seem to become more accomodating, but really the most help you'll get for tucking is repeated hormone-ing.

Actually, the first few months I was here, I'd read thru the pages and pages of old threads...although I found many repeated topics, occasionally I'd find one that interested me, but didn't contain the info I wanted.
It's better (imho) to resurrect an old thread, rather than create a duplicate of the same basic topic...and we know that if a dupe is made, someone will post "Do a search next time!!1!" LOL ::)

So, this is how I tuck and have been using this method for years, even in bathing suits.
1. Take a pair of old jeans you no longer wear and cut from seam to seam across one leg. Cut as wide as you mau need:lower down the leg if you need it smaller, higher up towards thigh if you need it wider and longer.
2.Using a pair of old pantyhose, shape wear, or dancer tights(TIGHTEST OR SMALLEST SIZE YOU CAN GET), cut the elastic waist band from the top. What you have left should resemble a giant hair tie.
3. Take the waist band(giant hair tie) and draw it through the piece of jean you cut in step 1. Yes, it looks like an odd sort of thong. Put it on. Take testicles and tuck each one up into the little pockets in the abdomen, somewhat to the side of the pubic mound. Cup them there with your hand while you pull penis back. Pull gaff/thong the rest of the way up.
This method is FULL PROOF.
Hope it helps!

As you're in the UK try Tesco's F&F briefs (though if you can find a Peacocks their high-cut briefs are more suited as they have a wider gusset. I wear a size 14 UK but need an 8 in the underwear to keep everything tidy.
I found tucking a real puzzler to start with to but it suddenly just clicked after repeated attempts and now I find it fairly quick and easy, though I realise if you're as frustrated as I was at the time this probably isn't what you want to hear.
Hugs,
Rosie

I must be the only one here who doesn't tuck regularly.. I kinda figure if people are looking at my crotch, something else is causing a far bigger issue.. Besides which, the shrinkage I've had makes it far less of an issue..

I'm too lazy to make a custom garment for tucking, and finding clothes a size or two smaller than what I wear isn't super easy. Soo... I just make sure to pick my clothes in such a way that my crotch area isn't visible.
Don't really have to tuck if that area is covered. It's not terribly fashionable in summer, but being comfortable beats the heck outta being fashionable, as I find tucking to be an extreme pain-in-the-nether.

Some people's don't fit. At the risk of being explicit, it's not necessary to push them all the way up. If you stick the "sausage" pointing straight back, they will lay on either side of it, and not protrude either downward or forward, so there won't be an issue.

I discovered tucking in my early teens. I don't think they had much problem finding the cavity. But it's far from a perfect solution because of the two bumps. It actually caused me to be a little obsessed with crotches, because I'm so envious of the smooth profile female equipment gives you.
I don't think I've yet seen the lazy tucking look on a genetic female, but have on pre-ops. Actually, thinking about it, and because I'm so obsessed, I did see this lady, last month, in leggings with an inexplicable bulge. From my car, I was unconsciously staring so much that she spotted me and started looking down herself. I'd be surprised if guys didn't give that area at least a millisecond's worth of attention.
But, yes, SRS has to be the best solution.

I must be the only one here who doesn't tuck regularly.. I kinda figure if people are looking at my crotch, something else is causing a far bigger issue.. Besides which, the shrinkage I've had makes it far less of an issue..
I don't tuck for other people, I do it for myself. If I go for a few days tucked, the first day or two I don't, when I get dressed I glance down and "the bulge" just seems SO obvious and unwanted...I'm as self-conscious as a 12yo with his first in-school hard-on... :(
